Sierra getting emotional at MK was so relatable. We were passholders for a year at Disney world. We are local and would go all the time, our passes were up this past April and we didn't renew due to cost. I cried like a baby our last night at MK. The fireworks went off and i cried hard core. There's something about Disney magic that makes you never want to leave. I'm hoping to be able to be passholders again in a couple of years.

I tend to get it when I’m @ an amusement park. It’s called-“medically speaking”- “Disney rash,” it’s exercise-induced vasculitis (EIV). ... A combination of hot weather, sunlight exposure, and sudden, prolonged periods of walking or exercising outdoors causes this condition. That's why people who spend long days strolling at theme parks may be prone to it.Apr 26, 2019 It’s not fun, & I get it all the time ~ I’m sorry ~

I feel for you Sierra! Two years ago I broke out in hives for the first time in my life, and I've had them every single day since. I was eventually diagnosed with chronic idiopathic urticaria, which is just a fancy way of saying I have chronic hives with no identifiable cause. I now get a very expensive monthly injection to help manage them, but before I found a suitable treatment, my skin was totally ruined from all the scratching - my body positivity/confidence took such a huge hit, and has never fully recovered. Your channel definitely helps remind me that I'm more than my body/a skin condition though, so thank you for that

When you got all emotional at the castle at the end I started to get emotional too. Growing up in Florida, Disney world was my happy place. It’s a place I went and let all my worries fall away at the gates. And I just moved across the country to WA and I didn’t get to go to Disney one last time before leaving. So I have been living vicariously through your Disney World videos. I’m so glad despite the rocky start, you had a magical day.

Sierra I’m thinking it may not be your usual hives. In Disneyworld, travelers get a thing called “the Disney rash” It’s exactly what you described. I WISH you would have used a Disney Travel agent(like meeeeeee!!!!!) People like us do your FP, book dining, AND would have been there by the phone to explain Disney rash(lol) Also it’s 100% free to use our services. Next time on your off day you should have head off property to the two outlet stores!!! So many deals!!! Ugh, I WISH I could’ve helped you. Hopefully when you shop tomorrow you learned to send your purchases to your resort (free!!!) I hope you had a magical time.(I missed a vlog-I have no idea when you switched resorts)

I get those all the time, similar to a heat rash and I mainly get them when, get this, IN DISNEY. Doctors said it's from the over active use from walking around. You don't normally do that much walking at home versus in Disney. On intense hiking trips I get the same hives, so I fully believe it's activity brought on.

I have the same problem with hives... it sucks. It used to be really bad when I was young. Then they stopped for a while and then in high school they randomly started coming back, I noticed if I was anxious, stressed or even went from being really hot outside to really cold inside I would get them all over my legs. Taking non-drowsy basic allergy pills helps me get rid of them on the stop. I haven't gotten then recently but I am sure they will make an appearance again.

Nobody could figure out what was going on so I just kept taking allergy meds, but I realize that when I ate high amounts of beef I would get them but when I didn’t they stopped so I cut out beef ( occasionally will have it ) and I haven’t taken an allergy med since. I hope this helps.

You could have Disney Rash. Basically its a form of Vasculitis that is caused by walking a lot and heat. I get it every time I'm in Disney World and it's very itchy and everything! It usually only shows up from my ankles to my calves. You can always go to guest services and they will give you some anti itch ointment for it!! Hope this helps!

I totally have a similar hive problem, mine head to toe covers me for months at a time every 3-5 years. I have had 3 separate occurrences, it’s awful so I understand your pain 😔 but your hives on your legs are probably just the “Disneyland rash” from excessive walking! I got it also and totally freaked because I thought my hives were coming back as well, but I looked up hives from waking and it came up! So common and lots of people get this Disney “rash” and we are probably more prone to it!

I had the same thing Sierra had where I had hives for no reason. I took a bunch of allergy tests and I wasn’t allergic to anything they tried. My doctor said I have Cronic hives where I get hives whenever I’m too hot, too cold, if something is rubbing against my skin, or stress.
@TiffsProduction5 жыл бұрын
My mom has a very similar case. She woke up one day covered in hives. If you don’t have an immediate reaction to something then it’s pretty much impossible to diagnose what caused the reaction. She has been through so many treatments and drugs - none of which worked. It’s been close to 20 years since it started and now she’s only on a prescription strength antihistamine and gets acupuncture. The acupuncture has been tremendous with helping during her breakouts and also a preventative measure. She will still get hives but it has been much more manageable now.

You definitely know more than me about your hives, but in Disney it is common to get a nice sized rash on your legs called the Disney Rash, it’s from all of the walking and heat you endure when you’re there! I’ve gotten it once, it’s also known as “golfers rash”, it may not be what’s happening but that is something that’s common 😊
