Fun fact about the title of this video, it's actually the complete opposite. Kung Fu is very aggressive looking compared to Wing Chun and it's subsidiaries, one of which (Pak Mei) is used predominantly in Sifu not only in mocap, but also in universe. So, in reality, Sifu is what you get when Kung Fu goes too soft; Which is not a bad thing like some might think.

Wing Chun and Pak Mei (The martial art represented in the videogame) by extension are much softer than regular Kung Fu, and there is no pressure testing which basically means most (If not all) Wing Chun practitioners aside from a select handful are completely for show. At least with Kung Fu, you could have the capacity to kick someone's ass because you learn how to use weapons in Kung Fu. That is not the case with Wing Chun. Sensei Seth has some good videos about Wing Chun where he goes over a few flagship techniques with Kevin Lee, one of the most popular KZbinrs who specializes in Wing Chun. You'd be surprised how far Wing Chun techniques can get you, but only when they're supplementary. Using Wing Chun alone is a one way ticket to getting knocked out by any other school of martial arts, or even street fighters who don't know what they're doing because at least they've experienced real fights with their technique, or lack thereof. I'd give the videos a watch if I were you.

It technically is. Shifu is traditional Chinese while sifu is Cantonese. Both translate to "Master". That also kind of makes Master Shifus name just Master-Master. XD

After you beat the game you unlock a pacifist route where you can spare all the bosses and get the true ending. You can do that by not using your finisher on the 2nd phase after you have the option, AND THEN defeat the boss normally. This only works after you finish the game normally.
