I'm building my first P320 and honestly just being patient to get a little better deal on each piece versus buying a finished legion and changing parts out. The first two orders I made were the Full Size TXG Grip and PMM Ultra Comp/Barrel set and now I have the Sub Compact Recoil Stock Assembly. I may change springs out once I get it operational, but want to see if the 16 lb stock spring breaks in or not. My local Sig Dealer and I talked about my next purchases, which will be a Sub Compact Slide already Assembled, but no milling for optics or suppressor sights on it, and the FCU. Looking at being around $1200 or so once I purchase the Gas Pedal Takedown Lever to finish it and be fire ready. Milling, Stippling and removing material to put my rear thumb flush against the grip, plus magazines and an optic/suppressor sights will get me up towards $1800-1900 without a light. Anyone else know a contact for better deals? Please share!😁

Sweet build! I just picked up an x5 legion, with plans on changing it up too! You can’t build it for what it sells for, and piecing one together like you want from scratch, you end up 3 or 4 hundred more, I’m gonna try to sell my slide also, not sure what one I want to go with though. Whatever one , I want the rear sight to stay with rdo.

The slide is the money maker. And the only Legion stamped part. It has the bull barrel and slide if you wanted just the grip module it would’ve been $300 for a TXG X5 grip. Exact same thing. you should not sell the slide or barrel

Range footage? How did it shot with the SRO? I hear the way Norsso cuts their slides for optics makes the SRO hang slightly over the ejection port. Enough to cause issues with ejecting cases.

Hey bud.. that’s a sweet set up. I have a quick question for your pmm barrel n comps. Are those a compact barrel or subcompact barrel? ( it’s look really flush with the frame, which is look really nice) Also what size guide rod do you use? Sub compact? Thanks!

I second this guys question down to a T. On the website it has options for the PMM dual ported JTTC compensator, and it has them listed as compact or sub-compact. My gut says the compact barrel, because it’s listed as a compact slide if you’re doing the Xcompact, and not sub-compact. But I’ve seen peoples builds where it’s not flush, and I think it’s because they went with the compact barrel and not the sub-compact order. Very confusing, it seems like a guessing game and I really don’t want to return anything or be disappointed and have to begrudgingly keep something that isn’t right. As for the guide rod every video I see seems to say it’s the standard double spring guide rod for the compact size, but I guess we’ll see when it’s range day. Nice build regardless

Have you had any issues having the SRO hanging over the ejection port like that? I just sent a slide to jagerwerks but opted to have the race cut, which removes the rear dovetail and places the optic all the way to the rear. I would be interested in seeing an update video on this build.

tucker pretzer complicated answer. Initially I thought I was having issues from the SRO but then I found out the extractor channel had a burr in it causing the extractor not to work properly. Unfortunately I had already switched the optic out for a holosun and wasn’t able to test if the SRO would’ve been okay or not. So I’m short, I don’t know if it causes issues for sure or not

That's badass dude. I've watched PMM really come up over the last few years. I'd like to get them to do an Acro cut on my MK23. Since you've gone through this much effort and $ on this build, do like Delvil Dolphine does on his channel and give us every 1000 rds update on this sexy beast. It's actually the x300U-A version...I have both the A & B version.The A version is the qd one,but it also gives you the option of not using the qd mount,to switch out to what he currently has...you can find videos about that here on KZbin...

Thank you for the great content. I love the look of your build! Epic! I’m a bit new to the build game and hoping you can help me with a few questions. I purchased the p320 XCompact, which of course is a sub-compact slide. I ordered the Norsso Reptile sub-compact slide for it and hoping to obtain the same look as yours with a comp on a full frame. You mentioned your slide was a sub compact. Is it a 3.6 sub compact or did you mean the compact 3.9? Would I be able to accomplish a similar build with the XCOMPACT? Appreciate your help!

Mine is the 3.6” subcompact. The xcompact should also be 3.6”. You can, however, do the same thing with a 3.9” (compact) slide. It would just stick out past the frame that extra distance

Dpm gold spring for proper cycling, 320s use the barrel tilt to assist in pushing back the slide, the comp takes energy out of that action, so you need a lighter spring for the slide to move "easier". A lighter spring also slows the firerate of the pistol.

I did the exact one earlier this year. With the sro on it won't cycle most factory ammo. Mine only ran with +p ammo. I ended up cutting both springs on factory guidrod. Are you having issues?

Yeah I had issues and switched out the SRO for a holosun and still had issues. I ended up pulling out my extractor assembly on the slide and there’s a burr in the channel causing the extractor to not operate correctly. So I’m waiting on a reply from Norsso

@@OHGearGuy yeah i was thinking i was having extractor issues at first but taking the optic off made it run normal. I cut about 1.25" off the inner spring and .75 off the outter spring. Still getting weak ejections at 2 oclock but running a little better

@@OHGearGuy norsso pb bentham sc rmr cut. Factory ejector and internals. The weight of the rmr vs sro is .4 oz. Havent tried with a rmr yet The comp just takes so much energy away.

Great video brother! Did you ever order a recoil spring from DMP? If so which one did you go with? I’m building this same gun but with the X5 frame and don’t know which recoil springs to use for it to function reliably. I like the dual port comp and flush mount look so I went with the sub compact slide as well.

Have not yet ordered one. Hate to spend another 100-120 lol. But it would definitely help reliability because there’s a couple light loads that won’t cycle fully in the setup
