Crazy how all of that come standard on most sigs. Why do people only complain about getting glock knuckle and glock thumb, no one says "i got sig knuckle"? Maybe thats because sig uses an ergonomic grip, not some boxy grips designed in the 1980s that isn't meant to fit right in a normal human hand.

I really like the Glock factory trigger, most people don't believe me when I tell them I shoot faster with a stock Glock than my Staccato til we go to the range together lol. But yah a better texturing and better steel sights should be standard on all Glock models.
@p51mustang249 ай бұрын
Whenever Gen 6 rolls around it should include the performance trigger standard. There's some inherent reasons that glock triggers are worse than most other guns, namely that the glock safe action is sort of a "one and a half action" rather than a typical single-action striker. This is a perhaps a good thing if you carry appendix pointed at your nuts all day, but there's no reason it cant be improved.

Better is pretty subjective but Glock is incredibly simple. I'm bias because I shoot Glocks but I carried a P365XL for years which is a miniaturized version of the P320. I can absolutely tell you completely disassembling a P320/P365 is a pain in the ass. The FCU isn't really designed to be taken apart a lot like the trigger assembly of a Glock. Even the slide parts are extremely easy to work on, clean, replace and do your own work on with Glocks. This issue isn't even designated to Sigs. M&Ps, H&Ks, CZs, Caniks, Arex, IWI, anything that's not a Glock clone is a lot harder to work on imho. I can take a complete working Glock, tear it down to its basic components and put it all back together in the matter of 3-5 minutes depending on how much I might fumble. It took me 15 minutes just to take apart my FCU to change my trigger shoe on my P365XL. Glock wins for this reason imho.

Yeah, I switched from Sig P226 to G19 and definitely noticed the grip pitch difference and find I have to correct every time I draw with the Glock I have to bring it down to get on target. Otherwise I love both systems.

The glock angle does a better job of locking your wrist when gripped correctly, but the the sig angle seems to be more intuitive. I think the biggest issue is when you have both; it's hard to have muscle memory for two different systems.

I have a 43X MOS as well but that P365 just disappears under a T-shirt and living in FL ease of concealment is a priority.
@Peezy714218 ай бұрын
Yeah I agree. I’ve had all three and appreciate them all, but noticed the M&P is a lot better than it gets credit for.

Glocks aren’t super hard to build as long as you remain gen compatible but some parts are cross gen compatible But even still the 320 is definitely like an AR15 where it plays nicer with modularity and different grip modules and slides using the same FCU

I bought a used gen 2 Glock in 98 or 99 on the advice of a friend of mine. Everyone that's ever shot it, loved it. I put orange nail polish on the front site and people think that it's aftermarket... I have a brand new never used gen 4 still in the case in the safe. I'll use it when my other one wears out...

P320 all the way, better trigger, better sights, better ergonomics, completely modular. All the Glock people can answer with is "high bore axis" and keep bringing up the drop fire problem resolved in 2017. If they only knew about the Glock "safety upgrades" all throughout the 90s.
@papimaximus959 ай бұрын
"The Glock was the only semiautomatic to fail in a recent round of "drop tests," Mr. Pledger said. In those tests, guns were dropped to the floor from waist height to see if the impact caused them to fire. "In many cases, the Glock pistols will not pass the drop test," he said. "If you drop it exactly right, it can go off." The F.B.I., police departments in Los Angeles and Chicago, the California Highway Patrol and the Metro-Dade Police Department in Florida have banned Glocks for routine use by their officers, citing a range of safety and training problems. All these departments have selected other brands of semiautomatics instead" - New York Times, June 15, 1992

Hey my Glock performance trigger was giving me light strikes so I went back to the stock striker spring and problem solved!!! Hope that helps.
@terrytolentino54597 ай бұрын
First 200 rounds was stock trigger. Then 700 rounds with the performance trigger, went back to stock and didn't notice a deference. The trigger smooth itself out the more that I shot it. And my Glock knuckle went away. I didn't have any problems with the performance trigger.

The Sig was a quick and dirty adaption of the double action only, hammer fired P250. You can see the vestigial hammer feature on the backplate, which accounts for the high bore axis The 365 was striker fired from the drawing board. Does anyone know the differences in the internal safety mechanisms between 320 and 365?

I haven't had reliability issues with the 320. I have carried a P-320 Compact in .45 ACP for 2 years and fired many thousands of rounds thru it without a malfunction. A few things here: 1) Which gun do you shoot better? For some odd reason I can't put my finger on, I shoot the 320 really well and so does my wife. 2) The modular design with removable FCU makes the 320 super quick and easy to clean. 3) The trigger in the 320 is not far off from the Apex package in my M&P 2.0 Compact. All I added was a Talon grip and it's good to go. I have never been a Sig guy, but there's just something about this gun...

The only problem I have with SIG 365 is my support hand doesn’t grip right. My palm crushes my fingers trying to make contact with the grip and sometimes it jumps itself loose. I like the glock slide release set up but my thumb can’t reach it so i have to use pointer finger. I think they make paddles that extend further. I think combination of both pistols to make a hybrid is the solution!

I was a Marine when we transitioned from the 1911 to the Beretta 92FS. Both had their strengths and weaknesses. I own a couple of Glock 19s along with a couple of Sig P320s. The Glocks don't leave the safe, while I shoot and carry the P320s all the time. Because of the design & flexibility of the Sig P320, it is literally the AR15 of the handgun world. You can change the caliber, barrel, slide, even the grip. You can even convert it into a PDW with either a Flux Raider or Strike Industries SMC.

Coming from a martial arts background, the glock angle doesn't bother me at all. In fact it could be a little steeper. When punching correctly and hitting with the first two knuckles, it lines up the bones and locks the wrist. The glock angel kinda does the same

I’ll be forever tied to Glocks because of the grip angle. It feels natural to me now and I naturally point other guns low now. I guess I could make it a point to train it but I don’t think I like any other gun enough to put in that kind of effort.

Me and my brother are "Glock guys". But we use 17 and 19 of 3rd gen with 2kg Glock original connector. Ergonomy and comfort aside, trigger characteristic in those is in our opinion much better than gen 5 (which we also have) with the performance trigger. Our friend had SIG p320, it was nice, but not almost double the price nice. That's why he sold the SIG and bought 3rd gen Glocks, 19 and 17 instead. Besides, we experienced feeding issues with 3rd company mags for the SIG. And yeah, 1 mag for the SIG makes 2 for the Glock. Thnx for the viedo. Hard to find non-biased materials comparing the two handguns.

The thing about the super glock statement. People were going cheap, and the army found out with the Beretta. When you use cheap parts. Particularly stuff that came from unknown or none reputable companies.

I have the p320 x compact which comes with the flat trigger. The trigger is real nice. I was going to get a glock but when I went to the range I tried a wide variety of handguns including several types of glocks and I just shot the sig soo much better. Past issues with the p320 and lack of trigger safety make me hesitant to carry it though so I was looking at glocks again for carry but now I have my eye on something like the czp10c just because it has a nicer trigger and comes with better sights. Don't really want a carry gun that I have to buy parts for.

I have a G19, P320, P365 and the CZ P10C. You will not be disappointed in the CZ. The only thing to note is the tiny slide because of the internal rails. Clearing a malfunction needs to be a bit more deliberate because there's so little to grab on to. That said, after 2000 rounds, my only malfunction was shooting somebody else's hand loaded "barely legal" ammo. His crimp height was a little too long for my chamber. Shot fine, just stuck the slide closed when I was trying to clear at the end of the stage for the RSO.
@dominicp.27027 ай бұрын
I'm with Coach, though. My Glock is great, I just have to push the sights down after the presentation because of the stupid grip angle. If your willing to marry Glock, it is probably the best out there minus sights and texture. But, I can switch between my Sigs, CZs and my Kimber without thinking.

In My opinion, The Glock grip angle is designed to rotate the top of the wrist up for better alignment with the bore. I find that squeezing the little finger and ring finger extra tight helps to lock the wrist this helps control recoil for Me. and of course very tight support hand grip. 43x , 19 , G-45 , they all shoot equally as well, you would think the 43x is the hardest to shoot but not so, i do just as good with the 43x as the 19 , but the G-45 is smoother than the other two the larger grip makes a difference for Me.

Carried a Glock for 20+ years as a cop and now carry a 320 X-compact as a PFC. The only thing I have done to is changed the triggers to Apex performance flat system. I can not recall any malfunctions with either but I haven’t yet beat the Sig up quite like the Glock. Magpul mags run fine in both and they back their product. If I went to combat today, I’d carry a Glock because it’s tried and true more so than the Sig for me.✝️🇺🇸

If i was a Navy Seal and moved around on every terrain imaginable on Earth, I would go with Glock. It would have a slight edge over the SIG for reliability (SLIGHT). Realistically, who's switching between different types of ammo casings on an everyday basis except on Range days? Most run brass ammo casings. I love both guns me and my best friend alternate shooting them all the time.

The only P320 variant I have is the X Five. Absolutely zero break in required. Has never had a single hiccup with whatever I've fed it, from the first round. I don't clean it religiously. I like the way it sounds and feels with some CLP on contact points, but it works fine dry and dirty, too. Maybe SIG spends extra time with an X Five. Maybe I bought it before SIG was running their factories at the high volume they do today. But my experience has been no break in, 100% reliability. That said, it's not like I drag my full size toy through the mud and sand.
