SIG P320 - X-TEN - 10MM Powerhouse

I just put 170 rounds through my p320 X Ten today.... An I put some sig sauer elite 10mm hollow points through it, and I had no problems at all with it....

I don't have a sig ,, but iv tried the 9mm hollow points , I shot a large ( Dead) racoon I treed the night before, , I could Not tell the difference between the entrance and exit , I'm talking Pinhole in and out , I was disappointed, especially considering the price I paid for the 50rnd box . The coon was easily as thick as the average man's upper torso.

I have several Sig X5s and even a Legion X5 and really love them. I just bought the Sig X10 but not shot it yet, I bought one of the first Sig P320 with ZERO issues. I have the Glock 40 MOS in 10 mm for my brush/outdoor hiking gun here in N. Idaho but I will be replacing it with the X10

Very nice review. I have three XTENS, two I’ve shot and one still NIB. The first has 46 rds of Underwood 165 gr Gold Dots (1,400 fps) and just shy of 800 rds of Magtech 180 gr FMJ (1,250 fps). It has two malfunctions w the latter. The second has well over 2k rds fired. 46 rds of Underwood GDs, a lot of 180 gr Magtech FMJ and 45 rds of Winchester 180 gr Defender (1,240 fps). No malfunctions! With 10mm, I prefer Norma spec over 10mm “lite.” With lite loads, it’s essentially a .40 S&W… maybe a hundred fps faster - not enough difference to make a difference. Might as well stick to .40 which is a good threat stopper… especially w Winchester 180’gr Ranger-T, the load I carried in LE for a few years. The 10mm Norma spec loads were made/intended to be “manstoppers.” Words used before everything went politically correct. A byproduct is hunting applications, trail defense etc. IMHO, for bear, boar etc protection in the lower 48, Underwood 200 gr HC will be the most you’ll need. There are videos of a similar load taking African game at 100 yds.! I EDC AIWB. I’d love to see a 3.8 - 4.0 barreled “carry” version come out to facilitate faster draw times (like it does for me w my M18 over M17). Also, SIG needs to release a reasonably extended 22-25 rd magazine.

I shot mine last week Wednesday, weak side, I had one failure to eject but like I said I was using weak side. I'm still recovering from a torn tendon surgery on my right(strong side) elbow. Good video, thanks for sharing!

Yeah I went in for a simple bone spur shaving because I had two pins in my thumb on my right dominant hand and when they were taken out bone spurs occurred and this craptastic so-called Doctor ended up nicking my tendon which separated three weeks after the surgery that he was completely manipulative about and then denial. And every other method is supposed to be bad including cadaver tendon which makes no sense cuz I've heard other people have it and not have any problems but they keep insisting I'm going to have some kind of infection problem.

Has anyone identified any "updating marks" or indications on the pistol or magazine? Any thing that we could use to know if we're buying an updated pistol or the first rollout that had all all the issues with 220Hardcast and certain HP ammo. *This is all assuming they've done some quiet updating of course..

I would suggest running some hollow points through it as these mags can jam up with some of these types.

I assume you could use the gas pedals made for the normal P320 due to the fire control group being dimensionally identical!
