Sig P365 AXG Legion… Never Meet Your Heroes

I am up to 1,500 round through my ACG Legion. Not one issue if any kind. Has been my EDC for months. Sometimes, it just user error. 😎

@@BanditApache-nd6lu You’re probably right to just assume it’s me. I’ve only been shooting for over 40 years. I’ve took several classes and use to shoot IDPA. (Was always in the top 10). I’ve also probably shot over 250-300 pistols but you probably have enough experience to see it’s more from watching a video.

LOL this is funny because my carry rotation is a Staccato CS, 365 AXG legion, and also a Sheild Plus Performance center in a pocket holster. And I am very much like you I find myself NEVER ever grabbing my 365Axg. I almost always Grab the Staccato and if I don't use that then I grab the pocket gun. Don't get me wrong its an good gun and I agree in the hand it feels fantastic but when its compared to the CS it has ruined me for all carry guns LOL. Comparing the CS to the AXG its not even fair and I agree the CS shoots like a full size gun and it is smoother and flatter by a Huge margin over the AXG , and I actually prefer shooting my Sheild plus Performance center more also over my AXG its the Shield has a way better trigger.

Reprogramming the switches on the light may help.

Same boat, shot the axg and the staccato cs with over 1000 rounds and the cs beats it hands down.. I’ve come to the conclusion this is mostly because sig kept the same mushy 365 trigger, this is a failure to not upgrade it in their axg line. The other is unlike the axg, the CS has polymyer grips which helps better absorb the recoil..

I really like the P365 line and I was really wanting the 365 Legion...BUT Sig continues to fail to offer many of their new pistols with a manual safety option... another example of fail is the P320 X17/X18...great frame, flat trigger...no safety as the P320 M18/M17 mandated to be fitted to the US Military guns.

@@Frohman5584 "This right here's my safety, Sarnt." Sounds good in the movies, but I for one (and I think I speak for many) would appreciate a manual safety for any striker fired handgun that I'm sticking down my pants and pointing at my junk. Once holstered, the safety can come off.

I had one and sold it. Accuracy was horrible. Come to find out the FCU became very loose in the grip module and I suspect that may have been the cause. Now I’m back to my original p365 XL on a macro frame.

You’re comparing the P365 to a Staccato CS ? Of course you’re going for the staccato. Way different guns!

I learned turning the light on unintentionally is a ND, who knew?

For $1200 I would expect it to be better. At least have a better trigger than the standard Macro. If it were $900, then it would be a great deal.

Sig uses a "combat" sight picture on their factory sights. It's not uncommon to find shot groups a smidgen higher than anticipated because of their sight picture. Don't worry, all is within expected parameters

Your opinion is your opinion,that is why it is part of the way things are. We are allowed to like different things. My AXG Legion is great, but you are entitled to your opinion. I like a da/sa gun better for EDC,but that is just my opinion.

From my experience, it’s normal for 365’s that are sighted in from 7-15 yards to shoot high up until about 100-120 yards. Multiple examples, not just one.

If the Sig P365 line of pistols were SA/DA hammer fired I'd own several. I'm not a fan of striker-fired pistols.

Hammered fired guns are obsolete. They croaked the MINUTE THE FIRST GLOCK HIT THE US MARKET.
