I'm I the only one who looks for the shortest to the point videos on how to disassemble and reassemble a gun just like this one? Thank's for getting to it.

Nice and straightforward, I like it! I'm quite disabled, in a power wheelchair with only one hand working, but even so I can still safely field strip a P229...and this looks even easier. Now, it does take me forever to load a magazine one-handed, and I couldn't do that at all without the UPLULA tool, but I count on SIG's extraordinary reliability combined with a larger capacity magazine to see me through an unfortunate encounter without any failure to feed or jams. The P365 is definitely on my want list as a great small alternative to full size service pistols, thank you for confirming my hunch that it'd be just that! By the way, my biggest worry after I became disabled was in shooting a service caliber gun one-handed, but that was assuaged a few years ago when I found I could safely and accurately shoot .357 Magnum through my SP101 for hours without any difficulty. It was so comfortable even I was surprised, but it did much to build confidence in my new and admittedly lessened ability. I found it comparable to the .40 S&W I have experience with, if not a wee bit snappier, and I'm looking forward to step up to the .357 SIG without any undue concern. Hey, I might be disabled, but I absolutely _refuse_ to be an easy target for predators Incidentally, I carried a SIG P239 for years prior to becoming disabled and practiced one-hand and weak-hand with it on every trip to the range, so as luck would have it, I was prepared to a degree for my later condition. As SIG fans would expect, it never gave one bit of trouble with firing and feeding all manner of loads, including hollowpoints, in all the years I owned and shot it. Love them SIGs!

You inspire me! I am disabled as well. I refuse to be a easy mark as well. Some of the most effective agents in both world wars and the cold war were disabled in some fashion. FDR is one of the best examples of this. Best of luck.

Glad you did a review on this. I picked one up today and couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to get the barrel to slide back in place because the takedown lever swung back in the 3 o’clock position and wouldn’t turn down. It turns out I needed to push the slide lock up as I turned the lever to the 6 o’clock position.

Just in case anyone has the same problem that I had: if you move the takedown lever to the 6:30 position, but you can't get the slide catch to release the slide, then you need to push the slide catch up while pushing the takedown lever further clockwise. That's what fixed it for me

I bought this last month to replace my XD-40 that I have been carrying every day since 2004. I am pocket carrying this one in an Alien Shapeshift holster. Unbelievably light for what it is. If it had the back strap safety like the XD, it would be perfect.

Enjoy, these are great gun. I bought a larger capacity mag -12 round. I think you can get 15 round if you vare to. The extra mags are not cheap. I like to fire 124-147 gr. I suggest you do it. No+powder Sig claims they are rated for plus p, I think you loose controll. You need to hit the CNS.. Bt it helps using a higher weight bullet, when it comes down to crunch Time. Sig after 5 months of my ownership, had to replace the extractor system, barrel and recoil springs. I use top- notch ammo Speer Lawman. I think if you push it in pratice, It will help, God forbid you do experience a threat..
