I've got an german x-five supermatch skeleton. And I have to say, the weight makes it have not much recoil. And to be honest, I'm a noobie. But the gun itself shots absolutely fantastic. FANTASTIC. I love it. Now, I'd tried to shot an Clock, which one it is i don't know. But at the shooting range, there was to cops, shooting Clocks, trying mine. And you should have seen there face. You can't compare them. This gun is AWESOME and so beautiful. ❤❤❤

Hi mate, I have the production version, the X5 Allround. Where did you get the spare firing pins from and also the German website for the G10 grips etc. Regards, Mike

You talk about the original X5. What are you referring too? I bought an X5 in the states when it first came out and there was only one model. Is that the original? I just looked. Mine does not have an accessory rail.
@saminc17052 жыл бұрын
yep those are the originals , Like the one in this video but most had no rail and where stainless kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXuuc5anob56pq8&ab_channel=SamInc

Great video on the X-five - very informative. I have just bought an X-five Skeleton and hope you might have the answer to what the standard slide spring and master spring weights are and whether the firing pin is the same as used in the standard line of P226's?
@saminc17054 жыл бұрын
cant help you with weights on the springs. What I can tell you that GUN city NZ once sold P226/P226 X-5 firing pins and so from their description looks like same part. One thing to note from SIGTALK forum ( saw you there) that you should not attempt to remove the pin unless its broke as they have proved problematic.

Can you use standard US p226 mags in this beautiful pistol?
@saminc17054 жыл бұрын
Yep all the 226 mags i have tired have worked no trouble at all, you can also modify Beretta 92 mags to work if you want to save some $

yeah really good. I have kept oil on all the blued parts oiled or with a coat of lithium grease, no trouble at all,

A year later, what is your take on it?
@saminc17054 жыл бұрын
Pretty Positive, It Has proven to be very reliable. accuracy has remained consistent. I have shot it in competitions every one to two weeks and I have no hesitation to use it. round count would be in the many thousand by now and have not have any parts fail or major malfunctions . In fact come to think of it I have Shot it more than my 1911 over the last year. I still wish I had the 6 inch version for 50 meter service match but this one is so accurate that it would be splitting hairs to complain.

-yeah- John Travolta's character used a P226 X-FIVE LW sad part is the frame was cut to do that "smuggle in a can scene" hope they Tig welded it back together after the movie or it would be a waste. Not his worst film either
