Hi there, First, great video mate! A video on the p226 is always a good video! But to my knowledge some of those German Sig p226R were imported in 2012-2013 as well, at least in Canada. I bought my German p226R in early 2013 (U 89X XXX) that has triple proof and triple serial + Kiel proof on the barrel, NO Exeter stamp, just like yours. The date stamp (BC) indicate mine was proofed in Germany in 2012. So I wasn’t shipped in 2011. Mine has original SigSauer p226 grips, Stainless Steel/Nitron slide and combat sights (like yours). My favorite!

i dont understand i have p226R but made in USA and is exactly the same in video but USA made???

I believe the parts are still made in Germany, the US just assembles them.

Yes, Sig Sauer has a factory in the USA where they make most of their guns. The Sig Sauer factory in Germany makes the same guns, but is now closing down. This gun was made at the German factory, and you can tell because it says, "Made in Germany" on the slide, and has other German markings.

U have the junk version full of MIM parts. The E26R-9-BSS-GER is the real deal, with ZERO MIM parts.

How can you tell? My frame says made in Germany. My slide has no marking as to where it was made.

On the slide it will say, "Made in Germany." If not, then it was made in the USA.
