Sig Sauer P365X Review!! Best pistol for EDC??

You did a great job demonstrating the gun. But one thing I noticed. Whenever I watch videos about the Sig P365X that I don't think people know about. On the right side on the slide just behind the ejection port there's a loaded unloaded indicator, when there's a round in the chamber it lays flat, when it's empty it sinks in a little bit. When you check it out, you'll see what I mean. Once you know what to look for it's pretty obvious. The reason that's necessary is so you can tell if you have a round in the firing chamber in the dark. Most people know you can look down at the gun and see that there's one in the chamber because there's a cut out for it. It may be true for all of the P365 Series but I'm only familiar with the P365 original and the P365X which I own, and I love. Anyway that's something I thought needed mentioning to inform others. Like I said you did a great demo. My Brother. One more thing It's my EDC It's perfect for me for CC carry. My Glock 19 is just a little to big too carry around all day. It is for me anyway~

I felt the nagic from the first round fired, and the P365 with extended mag has remained my EDC that is so easy to carry it is always with me. The only modification I did was MagGuts, to insure reliability of a continously fully loaded magazine (increased round count just a bonus). A Vedder Lightuck holster with claw has never dislodged from Bigfoot gunbelt. After decades looking for a near perfect concealed carry ensemble, I am finally satisfied, and hope you find similar 2A happiness in which you can bet your life if necessary.

If you own one of these guns I *_highly_* suggest getting (seriously, you are a fool if you don't get one) a Magguts magazine upgrade kit. They make the magazine _much_ easier to load, the little spur on the baseplate allows a full pinky grip, and they add +2 to carry capacity without altering the dimensions of the gun (well, they're an 1/8 inch longer but it doesn't make any difference, they conceal just the same), giving this dinky little micro compact a total capacity of 15 rounds, which just amazes me. You won't find another gun this size that holds 14+1 anywhere, and I mean _anywhere,_ Magguts kits are a game changer for this gun. Easier loading, +2 capacity, better grip on the frame, no change in reliability or concealability, there are literally no downsides to installing these things. They cost $35 each but are worth every single penny and then some, if they were $50+ I would still get them. Get two of them so you can install one in your spare mag, having 29 rounds in a form factor that small is some wild shit...

I shot this on my most recent range visit and enjoyed it. I also like the Sig P365XL and P365-380 as well. I'm torn between this and the XL for 9mm carry. Does the barrel length really make a huge difference? Is it true that a longer barrel can help with the "keel principle?"

Get the x. It’s better for pocket carry also if you’re worried about keel principle just get an xl holster. I have a tenicor certum 3 and don’t have any issues

I’m left handed also bud. You can pop the mag release out and switch it to the other side so it’s easier to press with your left hand.

Those magazines are a beast to load. I highly recommend buying a mag loader. I purchased the XL and so far I really like it. Got the Wilson Combat Grip Module. It’s really rough but what a nice shape.

Get a Magguts kit, you won't regret it. They make the mags much easier to load, the extra 1/8 inch and contoured spur on the baseplate allows your pinky to fully grip the gun, and to top it all off it adds +2 to carry capacity without affecting concealability. They really are an incredible addition to an already incredible pistol, the extra $35 is well worth the cost, honestly if they were $50 I would still get them. I got two of the kits, one for the mag in my gun and one for my spare mag. Having 14+1 and an extra 14 as backup makes me feel very good.

I love my P365X, and I also only load 11 in the magazine. Whenever you have to really force that last round in, you’re just begging for a failure to feed that first shot.

Do you consider it to be an issue with there not being a slide release on the right side? I’m left handed as well; I really like this pistol but I’m not sure about getting it due to the slide release.

Nice gun, these things from Sig are getting expensive compared to many other fine choices in the same segment of guns. For example , the main reason that Sig came out with the P320, was to compete at the price point of Glock, and they did at first, but now try to find a P320 under 500 bucks. Very hard. Many versions now close to 1000 bucks, and Sigs all steel series like P229, P220 are getting close to 2 grand.......crazy!!!

Where are you looking at? I see P229, P226, and P220's Brand new at my LGS all the time under $1000 and Legion Models under $1500. I will agree that the P320's were brought about to compete with the Glock.

With a holosun red dot. I shoot that gun surprisingly well! 12 rounds in a three inch target from 30 feet away. Amazing. If your looking for a concealed carry gun and have the funds. Hand to God! It’s just perfect.
