Do you think that pistol has an advantage over a P229 , P225 or P226, I’m not a fan of striker pistols , but I own a lot of them, I have one of the original P226’s from years ago, and was thinking of getting one of the new full sized sigs and retiring that old 226?

Nah. Just select models. Most duty guns from most companies will remain polymer. The steel and aluminum options are being brought back for custom guns due to competition and retired but rich old guys complaining. Notice how all the tier 1 guys have switched to Glocks since the 2010s or even earlier

Switching to polymer was just a way for manufactures to cut production cost. Once the wars kicked off you get a whole lot of investors who want immediate returns on their investments. So build a cheaper gun and sell at an "entry level" price... notice all the polymer frames are creeping up in price and are now in steel frame territory ?

If it's not saying/da I don't want it. The sound of my gun cocking not only has stopped a lot of bad situations end without a shooting. It also makes it more accurate.

E-250 cerakote it's referred to as SigTitanium.

Pretty sure that the trigger is standard and not offering performance enhancement with regards to lighter pull weight. I could be wrong but IMO, is prob around 5lbs after break-in.

Sig is soooo misleading with their SIg videos. He says it shots soft so does Glock at half the weight 🤣 learn how to shot and control recoil, weight has very little to do with recoil, it’s your grip!!
