I love it. I'm surprised there aren't more metal frame striker fired pistols. People love the weight/material of an all metal frame pistol and people love the consistent trigger pull of a striker fired pistol. Why don't we have more offerings that combine the two? I know Walther makes some of the best ones available with their PPQ Q4 SF and Q5 SF, some from Kahr (if I recall they were single stacks though), and a few others. Glad Sig decided to make one as well.

@@prone_wolf8871 Berettas never left. But metal framed pistols are better for most functional aspects, eg. shooting, recoil, rapid doubles. They're worse for carry. That said, this needs to be said outloud to so many people - NOT EVERY GUN NEEDS TO BE A CARRY GUN! Gosh, if you only have a gun for carry how are you supposed to have a bathroom gun?

Honestly Sig is innovating at a much higher rate than glock is. I mean all glock has release in the past while has been a .22lr and a few factory cuts on the slide.

@@justevil100 Glocks are a highly reliable, polymer, striker action pistol. The problem is that those features are not unique to Glock anymore. Right now, Glock has market support and brand loyalty on it's side. I don't think they will ever be outcompeted to the point that they go out of business. But, I could definitely see them not having the market cornered in the future.

@@icyspicey Sigs have a higher bore axis. It takes some getting used to. This said, i can conseal my Sig M18 just as easy as my Glock 19 MOS. The difference there is my M18 has 17 rounds vs the 19s 15.

I got my chance to shoot the AXG Scorpion and it is WONDERFUL. It even comes with updated magazine with individual round witness holes on the back instead of the 2 or 3 holes on the side. Magazine release button has also been updated and it feels great as well.

When I think of Sig, all metal duty handguns is the first thing that comes to mind. These are what the reputation of the company is built upon. Those models remain completely relevant with some still being issued. A metal framed 320 seems logical, and it’s a welcomed addition to the lineup. I personally would like to see returned the 22X series which are conceal carry oriented without rails, huge beaver tails, or the Legion series price tag. Recalling that the 226 competed neck and neck with the Beretta 92 in performance and initial firearm price, those today should sell on the commercial market for approximately $500-$600. The P227 Carry, much like a 45 version of the M11A1, would quickly find its way into my holster upon its return.

That looks more like the Glock recoil than the “rocking horse” recoil of the original model. The X grip helped a lot and it looks like the additional frame weight helped even more. “The grip module has been completely redesigned”. I wonder if the redesign leans more toward the X than the original and why the X grip wasn’t used. A little documentary on the concept to design to manufacture would be fun.

If you have a P365 or XL I recommend Icarus. They make aluminum grip modules. I picked up the XL module yesterday for $245. The non-XL i belive was just a few dollars less. And they do have a P320 model as well.

I bought an leo trade-in p320 carry from aim surplus for the low. Like tree fiddy, ffl that did th transfer gave me a wilson combat grip for it. I ran that for a while but im such a fan of the 226 scorpion, that when i found out about the axg i decided i was going to build my 320 into a quasi scorpion. I freaking love this pistol. Tossing the fcu i to an aluminum frame, with the grip angle and profile of the axg is the bee's knees my dudes. Such a great feeling pistol. I shoot mine so much better than any of my other pistols with way less effort.

Speaking of Sig, I decided to buy an M400 TREAD (a great carbine for the moolah!), but naturally it came equipped with the CA compliant Hellfire mod kit, which actually makes it less safe since it makes it harder to engage the selector switch and change mags. Basically the state of California wants to slow down your ability to defend yourself.

I picked one up last week. WOW, it’s very nice feels great, trigger is so smooth. This thing looks good enough to be a display wall hanger but that would be a waste. I’ve been a fan of the 320 for a few years, I carry one at work this one just feels and shoots so much better than my work gun. Can’t wait to see what else @SigSauer does with this.
