This is the first pistol I've ever bought the SP2022 9m. Got it at Bass Pro 3 months ago for $469. Came with 2 15 round mags without night sights. This is a wonderful gun especially if you're on a budget.

Have had my Sig SP2022 9mm for 7yrs. It's my EDC holstered in a Texas 1836 Tagua Standoff OWB belt Leather Holster in Black. Blends in with the gun. It holds this gun close and comfortable in the 2-3 o'clock position. Smooth draw with a no peak reholstering. Very accurate and dependable. Never leave home without it.

Sorry to hear the SP2022 dosen't work for you. With the medium backstrap on mine, I could not of asked for anything more perfect. Point of aim is spot-on & it chews through any type/brand of ammo I've tried. It's a smooth, flawless shooter. Stay safe & practice your shooting skills often everyone!

I put a SMALL grip module on mine, plus a Short Reach trigger. I prefer it over my P320X Compact.

I bought mine last summer. Bare stainless slide, 2 mags, SigLites, case and papers: $425 OTD. Love it as a companion for my P239. I put a SMALL grip module and a 'short reach trigger' on it. It is part of my vehicle's GHB kit.

I got mine in .40 just about exactly 2 years ago now. Too big for everyday concealed carry for my tastes, but shoots better than the 229 I carried for years. It’s a great gun for the home.

This is more of a compact than a service model. You can modify Beretta mags to fit this gun. They have a large capacity mag that will work.

The high bore axis prevents stovepipes in someone who is limp wristing. Tactiholics did a nice video on the 320 where he tried to shoot with two fingers, but he couldn't force a limp wrist! That ONE thing was the reason I bought the 320; not the G19. I have just seen TOO MANY stovepipes from Glock's :-(

Discovered this and due tothe nature of my work I carry a smith and wesson 442 in a crossdraw 100% of the time, and I carry either Glock 19 or as of late, SIG SP2022. Either @ around my 3:00, or going back to 4:30-ish, i got hip pains, shrapnel, etc. Thinking of an HK-P30 but...the SP2022 is so great, best bang for the buck I've found (though my 19 was on sale and 10% veteran discount at Handgun Haven so, got that, 3rd gen new, $420 with the two sales stacked-up, the SP2022 was $479, holster, 2 mags, nightsights, new....though the frame was scratchy and it had a firing pin issue, came back working perfectly) Pretty sure that if the Chiappa Rhino 4d isn't my ext firearmr or getting my beloved Springfield or Kimber 1911s back I'm going to look at an HK-P30 (compact, more than likely) or SIG P229 which im leaning towards. I cannot believe this firearmr was under $400 at some point. SIG's high prices worked against them here because I had to be convinced to buy this but....the trigger is damn-near as good as the P226 Navy my friend owns!

I love my 2022 in 40 cal. It actually shoots a little better in my hands than the P229 in 40. I also have a P07 in 9mm. The P07 is probably my most accurate compact (medium) sized pistol. As far as reliability, every gun I own goes bang every time so I can't say Sig for example is any better than CZ. Both Sig and CZ can be more expensive to run as far as accessories (holsters, magazines) than say an M&P, Glock or XD series of pistols. But IMO, all those feel a little bland to shoot and don't have much character. I subscribed.

Fun handgun. I used my "Biden Bucks" to get a SP2022 earlier this year (last year I used my "Trump bucks" to get a Sig M400 Tread, great rifle BTW). It's my first 9mm. It came with three 15 rd. mags which is pretty cool as most handguns seem to come with one, maybe two, so getting three was outstanding IMO. I've been shooting .45 ACP handguns for the 20+ years I've been shooting but I finally joined the 9mm club. In terms of cost, it seem to average out to about 3 rds of 9mm for every 2 rds of .45ACP so it's a bit more affordable. Also, it's considerably lighter than packing my trusty 1911 but I think most handguns are lighter than a 1911 anyways. :D

$500? For a 2022? $600-700 for a 226? Oh!!! Ok. I see this video is 5 yrs old. In my area, New Orleans/Mississippi...I just bought a 2022 and payed $700 out the door. And the 226 is right $1000 around here..I just purchased an HK USP 9MM brand new..it was $1065 out the door.. My Oh My!!! The price of guns , and ammo these days are astronomical in comparison to 5 yrs ago...jeeezzz.. you almost have to take out a 2nd mortgage for ammo over here...it's getting ridiculous expensive

I'm shorting close groups and centered but 4-6 inches below my target. I think the long trigger pull is causing me to anticipate the recoil so I naturally pull the front sights down. How do I cure this?
@jameswolfe14877 жыл бұрын
Risky Business you can adjust your finger placement on the trigger and do the "slow steady press to the rear"
@glennkelly99756 жыл бұрын
If you are doing a 6 o'clock hold it will hit low. You need to put the front sight right on the bullseye (combat hold).
