@@SigGuy , hey SSG you never really replied but I asked once about shortening the trigger creep and raising the trigger pound to ensure safety. I've looked at my P365 FCU and figured if I just shave a little off the sear where the striker face rest or maybe a very small shave on both the sear and trigger face would shorten the creep. Then I would buy a heavy trigger spring to raise the trigger pull from +5 to hopefully 8 pound pull. What are your thoughts?

Yahooblows me personally I modify my EDC pistols very little. I tried a companies spring kit and I had nothing but feed, extract and light primer strikes. Took it out immediately. Risk is not worth the reward (which with the 365 there is none because there is very little you can do with the action.

Great tutorial. I was very hesitant installing a Sig 365 flat trigger. I watched this video 5 times prior to attempting trigger replacement. Took me less than an hour with fingers "crossed". IMHO this is the best video. I did other watch replacement trigger installs but again the step by step process was easy to follow. Great video, thanks so much! I just replaced my trigger in about 10 minutes with a 90 degree pick and needle nose pliers. And for those wondering if there is a difference for the version with the manual thumb safety (P365 MS), the job is exactly the same- you just push the silver pin out until it touches the underside of the safety and continue from there.

Thanks so much for this. Watched the video twice and then attempted to install an AC red flat trigger on my 365.. Took me 30 minutes, about half of that with the last step. I found that putting very, very gentle pressure on the pick to push the takedown lever as far outboard as possible, and the safety bar as far inboard as possible, with very gentle downward pressure on the bar did the trick for me (you say as much in your video) but I was hesitant at first to use any pressure at all, but when I did, it popped into place!

To update this post, I have subsequently removed the AC trigger and replaced it with the OEM flat trigger from Sig, which came with a new trigger spring and pin. Now the trigger breaks at 90 degrees very similar to my 365 XL and X series 320. I found a bit less take up and a slightly crisper break with Sig, and of course the AC trigger broke a little further back, to my liking, anyway.

Great video. Followed it along and installed a new Sig flat trigger. My pistol has the thumb safety. I found that the safety will not let you pull the two step pin out too far. At the same time the lower step becomes even with the frame, the pin makes contact with the safety lever. Otherwise went exactly as viewed.

20 mins! Done and done! Watched it once Thru and then went for a day later I was really pleased with the takedown safety bar dropping into place relatively easy. At first I was under the impression the bar had to be sort of bent up (I know that’s not what you meant) behind the slide lock to get into the notch but it was more a matter of just moving the bar around on the trigger end to get it to drop into place. That was the only part where I was a little confused but of course the video was masterfully crafted and gave me exactly what I needed to do this job myself. Another gun mod successfully accomplished by a dude with very rudimentary skills. Thanks internet! Just watched this again, and it saved me all sorts of aggravation. I installed a Grayguns adjustable P365 trigger and was having trouble with the bar going into the takedown lever, and let me tell you, the installation is further complicated by having a thumb safety on my FCU (I’m in MA). So thank you again Eric. Edit: Oh, and I pulled the pin out too far and the safety lever fell out. Again, I think reassembly is complicated by the thumb safeties which I didn’t take off. All my best.

@@SigGuy what made mine even worse is I have a manual safety. I was able to figure it out before you responded. I was shooting in the dark at hitting the hole, but with patience I was able to get the pin in the hole. Reassembled everything and all functions well. I’ll go bust some caps tomorrow for a real function check. Thank you for your response.

Awesome video again. I did find that the take down bar is easier to wiggle free from the back first. 2nd the trigger bar spring is super easy with 1/8" finger nail.

Very nice step by step description, but I was able to reduce it slightly, since the main points are that one needs access to the trigger pin and removing the trigger bar. The take down safety lever can be moved out of place without backing out the safety lever pin (that whole bar simply needs to be low enough to get the trigger pin out), the takedown lever can then be removed. So perhaps an alternative is to disconnect the trigger bar spring, take out the takedown lever, remove the trigger pin, and then go through what you described regarding the trigger and trigger bar, then reverse the process.
