It's just too bad the pike shred your flies. Taking 40 minutes to tie a buford that gets destroyed in three minutes now has me tying pike bunnies almost exclusively. Or using my bait caster lol

Pike flies with rabbit strips are the best..... strictly because of their durability

You went in the wrong direction. You should of gone to Wahnapitae lk , just outside of Sudbury. Pike up to 25lb + & Musky as well, & you can catch them ALL ,walleye ,Perch. From fishing from the shore line. Lots low price camp groups, or pitch up your tent in the bush for FREE .You guys wouldn't like it, BECAUSE there isn't many loges to satisfy your NANBY PANDEY needs, sorry to DIS YOU. Most normal people, don't have extra money to spend.

sounds like a great place , we only had a couple days to fish but we did see some tanks landed out on the water …..such a great area to explore
