Ahhh yes these were the days....as a kid I never had the opportunity to visit a track in the early 60s. All I could do is be lucky two see to hot rods line up a stop lights and race to the next light.

If I could, I would camp out at an abandoned dragstrip. It's a respect thing at such a sacred place.

It took me 11 months to complete it. Adding the sound was tricky. I appreciate your viewing and so glad to hear your feedback!! I produced a total of 4 DVD/s and I'll try and upload the others as well. By the way, they are all for sale, individually or separately. You can call me at 914-403-318

Lets face it most of those cars are faster than some of the modern muscle factory cars now. The advantage we have today is those racers were getting 5 to 15 mpg on the street depending how you drove. Today we get 15 to 28mpg.

The proper title, "Sights and fake sounds of the early drags"

They are ORIGINAL sounds.
@carsandusdennistate3 жыл бұрын
Not fake sounds..they are real sounds not only synchronized but applied to the cars as well. Try and produce something before you criticize

It was a typo as I was thinking of Bob Moore out of Pittsfield, Mass. And, for your information, I raced there.

@@carsandusdennistate relax dude, I only mentioned it so others would know. I raced there as well. Never forget the mud pitts. Thanks for posting great video.

@@danielgeorge9283 It's difficult at times to actually figure out how the comments are made. There's no emphasis on words etc. When did you race? What class? What car/s?

I doubt that every car and dragster sounded exactly the same, the title should read " Sights and the same sound for every single car and dragster " ! ! !
@carsandusdennistate6 жыл бұрын
If you know the engines in the cars then you can tell the sound was the same
@matrox6 ай бұрын
Pretty sure its the original sound, you can hear the announcer in the back ground in some calling out the cars names that match to what is running. Also one particular plymouth making mutliple runs can tell the engine sound when shifting always matching that same car.
