Nice what stance settings are you using for front and back bindings

I have only ridden with Sigi once, at an ECES event, so, my memory may be faulty on this, but; I think he's running a 21" (52cm) stance, Goofy-footed, at around 56* up front, a slight (like 4mm) Toe lift, no canting; and 48* at the rear, with a 1cm heel-lift, and 3* of inward cant to give some extra 'boost' at the end of the carve (vs. running flat, which tends-to leave your hip too far back under hard thrust). His stance was very similar to my 'race' stancing when I'm on a 'wide' race deck ('wide" being 21cm at the waist, as a Madd was 17cm, and Required higher angles). In that, we concur that a bit of 'splay', or differential is a good-thing for over-all control and hip placement. "PSR"

I couldn't go on a skilift on a snowboard like that!

It's actually EASIER to Load/Offload using these binding angles. A former student of mine, "CMC" actually rides along Carving turns one-footed for a bit when offloading the chair. You, are simply AASI brainwashed... "PSR"
