It's been a year and no doubt you've heard this before but just in case - Adobe DNG (lossless raw compression) works a treat for A7R IV files and HALVES the file size (and for me, nearly doubles the lightroom speed). If you google Adobe DNG script "Barjonas", he wrote a pretty good powershell script to automatically convert all the files to DNG from your card (or whatever start folder) and put them in whatever target folder you desire. If you adjust it correctly and set up lightroom to auto import from the target folder, it's just fire up lightroom, insert card, start script and after a minute you have all the files imported at full raw quality but half file size. Just got this lens used (banged up, but working fine and the glass is clean) for 600 bucks after watching this review, thanks a lot for the info!

Sigma 105mm vs Sigma 85mm which is buying for wedding photography and fashion photography

The 85mm would be way easier to use since the 105mm is an absolute beast of a lens! Don't get me wrong it is a fantastic option, but very large and heavy if hand holding as it offers no stabilization.

😍😍😍😍 Someday i hope i have this combo!! as a photographer you charge what a session with this team costs. So why complain about the weight? If you care so much about weight, you buy a Cotton Carrier harness or something similar, right?

I complain about the weight, because it is a very heavy lens. Due to that heavy weight, it's hard to hold for long periods and especially when hand holding low to the ground for example. A lot of people have sent this lens back because, although clearly awesome results are yielded, the weight was just too burdensome after using a few times. I feel like that info is very important for those in the market ;)

@@pula237 Fuji one is just an APSC lens, not really that special. If you want AF with 50 F1 experience, cheapest route is get a m mount 50 .95 and an AF adapter

Yes, it is an E-Mount lens so both full frame and crop factor lenses will work on APS-C bodies...

It think it's large and heavy, so for family outings not ideal. However, for a special portrait session I would say it's an awesome option!

I would go with the new Sigma 85mm f/1.4, simple because it's much easier to use size and weight wise... Although this lens produces killer results!! Don't get me wrong.

I had this lens and have a love / hate with it... like all Sigma this is way too heavy & big. Yeah, the images are magic, but I didn't think I was worth it. Try carrying around a 3.6 lbs lens and then everything else. No thanks! I'll stay with the (new) Sigma 85 1.4.

The new sigma dosent even come close to as good as the 105/1.4... I don't mind the weight beacuse it renders such amazing shoots.
