I feel like you live in paradise man.. Palm trees... Nice sunny weather.. Just beautiful. I use to use this lens for my canon!!! Its a good lens... But at night its not best at 3.5..otherwise its a good overall lens to use daily!!! I like it

I think your shutter speed was too slow. That's 'why some images came out a little bit blurry. It makes the shaking of the hands more pronounced especially at longer zoom ranges. Good review.

Yes this is something that i didn't notice back then as it was first day using it. And it's also going to 250mm when pointed downwards.... that you gent when you buy a cheap lens i suppose...not the best quality my friend 👎

You have to engage the lock for it to prevent lens creep I believe.

There should be the same lens made for canon cameras. Otherwise you will need an adapter but better search from start to be lens for canon and not for nikon.

Yes there the same Sigma lens for canon cameras as well. Just make sure to check that it has mount for canon and not for nikon like mine.

hello Thijs! The resolution of the video is 1920x1080p better put your screen the same resolution man. and choose on the video the setting down right to be 1080p. Otherwise it will be bad. Overall this is a good lens if you are not professional. I am still using it for videos that i want to tape even sports far away. It's not perfect but it make me the job without spending much. But if you want something really good better search for more expensive lens.

If you interested for the video of that lens...Check that video where i tape the athletes close up is with that lens : kzbin.info/www/bejne/apDQhH2Qe6uXaJY Not perfect you know.. but i am not getting paid for that it's just a hobby ;) So you can see unfocused capture many times because it is slow especially for that sport....for pictures.. if it focus correct the quality looks good and sharp. But very difficult for that type of quick sport to catch good images.

Yes its noise man. I usually don't use the sound of the video if I pressed the focus button. With extrernal microphone is bit better but still you can hear it. Otherwise if I really need the sound I used manual focus. You know Nikon cameras not very famous for their focus anyway. 😭

Awesome lens. Though that telephoto is very dark considering it's a crop sensor only mount. 6.3x1.6=f/10. Oof. Wish it was EF and could be speed boosted onto mirrorless, or simply run on full frame. Definitely a daytime lens :)

@@i_dont_want_a_handle It is EF mount, but it is not a full frame specced lens. Run on full frame you will experience decent vignette at tele and SEVERE vignette as wide angle. To the extent its rather unusable outside of planning to crop it in post. But in so far as your point goes, yes I do believe it doesn't have the "EF-S lock" thing Canon lenses have that make it incompatible with EF cameras. Most 3rd party "EF-S" lenses actually don't have that, and can be mounted to full frame Canons you just experience the extreme vignette issues you'd expect running an aps-c designed lens on FF.

Doing lens review the best is included low light test. For zoom lens it is better to have more continual zooming in and out video instead of step by step.
