Great video, Mario. I really enjoyed the format, how the subject was handled, the diversity and, maybe most of all, the images. Also enjoyed having someone else trying to use a heavy load for everything! I've taken your advice and bought one of those slings... awaiting delivery but already confident my right wrist will love me for it. I'll be in touch - take care and all the very best.

😅😅Thank you very much Luzr, in my case, my physical condition is not very good, I can walk for hours and go up and down hills, but if it comes to lifting weight with my arms...I am the worst 😆, and for the first days of walking with the lens, after a few hours, when I tried to lift the lens with my arm....uff...I was shivering as if I was dying of cold!! Hence the belt became my best friend, oh and also the monopod, I love it as a simple and lightweight solution for when I am static for a long time in one place. Luzr, in you last comment on other video y wrote you my email to keep in touch beyond KZbin !!🤗

Thank Mario for this INFORMATIVE & UNIQUE video. As of today, August 8th, 2024, out of many videos I've watched, yours is the ONLY one that photograph landscape, sports, portrait, and wildlife with this lens. I wish you tested its video quality too.

Hi Mauricio, thank you so much for your really kind words, you motivate me a lot to continue sharing my experiences in Photography. Mauricio, at the moment I am on vacation with my children outside of Germany, but in mid-August I will return, and my first video will talk about this same lens with the NIkon Z5 after 10 months of very intense use. Of course I will talk about Video, what I liked, what I didn't like and what I hated about this lens. A hug Mauricio and much success in everything!!

@MarioKilianPhotography11 ай бұрын
😆Everything has its negative side, in this sigma you can start by weight, aperture....and end with who knows what, but that is not the point of this video, deep reviews are a lot in youtube, I only show to all those who already have it all you can do with this lens beyond wildlife.

Hi Mario, enjoyed the video. I was really pleased to see the estimated distances and you not cropping too much, which unfortunately I tend to do. This makes noise reduction more of an issue with higher ISO’s. BTW, on the cameras I have, and had, I could never find the PATIENCE setting. 🫤
@MarioKilianPhotography11 ай бұрын
Hi Tony !!!!!! 🤗 I crop a lot, but I try not to make it too much, generally it is to remove from the image some stick, another animal or some object that bothers, here for the presentation they were cropped to give it a more suitable format, but you have given me the idea of making a short video with the real image of the camera versus the final one shown, there you can see how much change there is!! 😀Big hug Tony !!

@@MarioKilianPhotography Mario, Duade Paton, an Australian bird photographer I follow, and maybe others, usually with an image shows the whole raw file then processes and crops on screen. You might want to look what he does. He is also a very passionate photographer and teacher. He has an interesting background that got him into photography. Like for many of us photography can be a bit of an escape from some of the not so great things life can throw at us. Cheers.

@@tonyblake8841 Good Morning Tony !! Of course !! Duade and Jan Wegener are two excellent Bird Photographers, with great Videos and Product Reviews , I follow them to since "precovid" era I envy the amount of equipment and gear they have.😄
@tonyblake884111 ай бұрын
Good morning to you Mario. They certainly do have a lot of gear. Too much for me but I guess that is their livelihood. IMO Jan goes too far with editing. Probably good on a greeting card. However they are both doing wider shots and including environment rather than a “ bird on a stick “. Sounds like you have been following them longer than me. I haven’t bought any of Jan’s presets or master class. I just use a little of LrC and Topaz Photo Ai. I as I approach evening, I hope you have a great day.

@@tonyblake8841 Tony, i dont have bought any presets either, but thats because I dont have Photoshop or Lightroom 😁. I used lightroom in late 2008, for about 4 years to improve a little bit some Real State photography, but that was all, since then no more sw, but im seriously considering to get one, today those sw seems to be very helpful to rescue blurry or bad photos. I met Duade previous his KZbin era on Facebook, dont remember how, but I was surprised by the colorfull birds he posted more than 10 years ago, and Jan from a fotocommunity from Berlin in 2006.
