Thanks for a very helpful review. I have Canon 6D and a number of Canon L lenses i really like. But i don't like the way Canon is going with its FF mirrorless cameras and lenses. So after a suggestion from another camera enthusiast, I am considering the Panasonic S1. Looks like an impressive camera if one is ready to deal with its weight.

I use this on for my sigma 150-500mm on my s1. Surprized how well it focuses and was as sharp as I could ask out of that lens!

i have a lumix dc s1 with sigma mc 21....My touch autofocus is not working.. any ideas on how to fix it ??? My touch screen is working and my autofocus is working as well.. i am nneither being able to track objects as i move .nor able to ficus by touching the screen .. anyone pls help

I have Lumix S1R and I tried it with my canon 100/2.8 L macro and it works fine but the focus is slow.

hi, How many types of mc 21 are there? Because in some images I can read SIGMA SA-L and in your video CANON EF-L appears

I have a specific question: Can u change the shutter type to EFC when ONLY the SIgma MC-21 is attached to the camera without an additional lense ?

It should work as shutter mode doesn't care of the type of lens or adapter attached.

This is old Sony adapted AF performance. Not good for 2019, especially at the asking price.

padam19 better off buying the newly released L mount lenses like the 14-24. The old version lenses with adapted mount are just as bad as using the mc-21 and canon mount.
