SIGMA RF 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary Lens

I currently use the R7 with an Ef-S 17-55mm F2.8 Is Usm with adapter, it is an old and heavy lens but it works very well, in terms of quality it is a good option to sell the canon and buy the sigma. for an R7? A comparison between the two lenses would be great.

The 18-50 will have all the state-of-the-art features for mirrorless cameras as well as being smaller, lighter, and more compact. If you are finding good results from the 17-55, you can stick with it but buying mirrorless lenses for a mirrorless camera can provide better results across the board. That being said, we have not tested these lenses out against each other so we are going off of specs and perception!
