Aurora is my daughter, and when we were notified of this clip, we didn't know she was the one who had bought the drawing! I loved watching her face as she watched CLL buy that. She has so many more artwork plans now! She had taken a break because that last one had been there for months, but she has her spark back!

Yay! A banana box!! I worked at a fruit stand in the late 1970s, and the owner purchased dozens of them from a wholesaler switching to cardboard. I still have mine full of vintage vinyl ❤❤❤❤

I love, love, love the pink and blue bird and the red turtle soap dish. I also love that you picked up the custom art work. You made someone happy. I'm from Washington DC. When my father retired from the Army in 1977 he started a moving service specializing in moving antiques. One of the places he delivered for was an antique shop in DC named The Banana Tree. Almost as cool as the Banana Box :)

Short background: on the Sopranos, Tony's mother, Lillian, was an unlovable character who was crafty, manipulative, and sneaky. She was an old mob wife who had a great deal of power over her family, though. At one point, a character named Christopher and his best friend, Brandon, committed a robbery on the wrong people and it caused a lot of trouble between mob families. Uncle Junior went to talk to Lillian about it and she said, "Christopher is a good boy, but that other boy..." she shook her head, "I don't know about him." This was a very clear signal to whack Brandon, but let Christopher live, and Brandon was summarily whacked forthwith. The reason I mention this is because it's what I'm reminded of, every time Jocelyn says, "I don't know" and puts an item back on the shelf. I've been watching for about three years and I'm not sure I've ever seen an "I don't know" that resulted in that item being purchased, after all. It's the kiss of death, that doubtful little "I don't know." Just a funny little observation, that's all. My friend and I love watching your videos together.

I was there about a month ago visiting from Tennessee and picked up a really nice signed and numbered print that says Festa d’Italia, (which means Italian festival), New Orleans, 1978, and has depiction of a man playing a mandolin!

The wooden banana box is cool. My father bought a bunch of them from Santana Banana in Harrisburg for $4.00 each back in the late 80's. They were great for vinyl records. And the best part was being able to stack them by flipping the handles in. Awesome versatile piece. Hard to believe what they ask for them now. Enjoy.

Loved this video. Especially the horse booth. We raised Arabians for some time and have a considerable bryer collection. So thank you so much for showing that. Did not know about the bannana boxes. Will start looking for on now. The Goodwill nearest us does not have a gery good glass selection. I think someone there may be selling on line and cherry picking. Just my opinion. Was able to pick up some heavier glass items for my home. The salvation army is the place to shop around here Thank you for sharing it all. God bless
