Excellent classes.... The ligands for GPCR are generally epinephrine, other hormones, neurotransmitters etc... It includes rhodopsin n odorant receptors... But Growth factors like EGF, NGF, FGF etc are ligands for another cell surface receptors called RTK...

The growth factors like EGF, typically binds to Tirosine Kinase Receptors. The best example of a GPCR ligand, are the hormones like epinephrin and some physical or mechanical stimulus.
