You several times refer to the G protein-coupled receptor AS the G protein; I believe this is misleading as the subunits themselves are actually the G proteins, and biology teachers and the AP exam will doc you points for not knowing the difference. other than that, great vid!

True. G-proteins are the subunits, and the receptor is called g protein-coupled receptor or metabotropic receptor. He's fun to watch though, and he made the complicated process easier to understand. 👍

My AP Bio teacher recommends all of your videos to us to help review material. She told us to watch this video today and mentioned the bit where you say something and have us fill in the word for you. I joked with my friend that it's like Dora the Explorer.
