I just noticed. Look how the barrel is placed in 12mm revolver. It is placed lower than axis of rotation of the revolver drum to resist recoil. A similar system can be seen in the Russian five-shot assault revolver RSh-12 and other weapons based on it and its progenitors P. S. Many of you guys said, that this revolver is a reference for Chiappa Rhino revolver. Thank you for the information

@@SouSaku_VT also, there is an interesting sniper rifle, very similar to RSh-12 - MC-569. This is revolver sniper rifle with lower-placed barrel and interesting recoil-resistance system. When I saw it first time I really thought this is overmodified RSh-12

@@SouSaku_VT I FOUND AN EXACT PROTOTYPE FOR IN-GAME REVOLVER! This is an Italian "Chiappa Rhino 200ds". Six-shot revolver with lower-placed barrel. And that little bastard is really short

After researching, I found many references to the gun design of the Chiappa Rhino 200ds and Signalis revolvers, so I think that section is correct even if there is no official answer from the official. Since it was released in 2009 as a gun for sports shooting, the fact that it can be obtained at the actual shooting range in the game may support this theory.

Interesting how some of these are animated pretty well given that the original top-down view doesn't show them off much. Even the shotgun pumps are animated, something Ubisoft couldn't even do with the latest Watch Dogs lol.

I find it interesting that the revolver's cylinder actually revolves when you're firing rounds. Seems like such an unneeded detail when you would likely never notice since SIGNALIS is a top down game. Still, color me impressed that whoever made the models would bother with making such a minor detail.

Holy hell. The game must be a totally new horror experience with this mod. Now the difference in height of all units really matters. Also spotting the enemies becomes a challenge cause with the default camera they are easy to see.

Pretty impressive that the developers bothered to animate the weapons considering the intended perspective you are suppose to play the game with! I especially love the fact that the Revolver's cylinder actually moves to a new rotation after each shot, when a good portion of FPS games tend to not bother with that! I loved Signalis, I hope either a sequel or a game set inside the same universe is on the cards in the future!

Played through it 3 days ago. Then watched about 5 reviews.And animations from one Indonesian animator made me genuanly shed a tear where game failed to do so. Great game. Though i wish they choose to use more detaled models on close ups.

I wonder how they made this work since all the assets in the game are tilted so it can work from a top down perspective kinda like A Link Between Worlds and similar games.
