That's good to hear, I was about to write off the game for that. The gameplay looks nice otherwise. But tbh, maybe the storytelling in the game is not for me anyway. I feel like with Silent Hills I usually at least pick up the gist of the story and symbolism involved, but watching the cutscenes here I was just confused in a bad way. So far I'm not seeing why people call it a masterpiece, but maybe an ending will clear that up.

Didn’t cover alders journal or anything about the sickness or the other units or anything about our main character and the white haired girl. Let’s just say in my own blind play through I was confused at parts and thought I wasn’t getting it until a certain point where it started making sense. Also being confused is a part of the story as it’s told in a slightly misleading way which is cleared up later on. I truly recommend playing through it. Getting to one of the endings and then looking up someone explaining “all” the details so you fully grasp the story. But by myself I was able to figure out the major gist of everything, only missing some small points about commander Falke

Signalis' plot is so damn good man, but it's kinda confusing if you aren't paying close attention to details. But honestly, even if you miss everything, even if you don't understand a damn thing going on, it's still really enjoyable. And hey, that's what multiple playthroughs are for.

Idk if you’ve played it or know the story but it’s themes are really handled really well and each ending is a answer to the question with each one being an answer for grief but only continues the cycle of trauma both in terms of the game world and the symbolism of grief. Only the final ending shows the true end to the cycle (again both literal and symbolically)

I loved SIGNALIS and it's a true masterpiece, truly truly truly. I really like the slight things done with Indei's editing to make this almost feel new. I've played the game through and it felt like I was reliving it with new light. You really should play this game. Even if you've seen this video and thought that was enough for you, you're actually wrong because you haven't played it yourself and let's just say it hits a little different, there's a lot more to experience outside of what Indei showed you.
