Orange Creamsicle Poke Cake

I used sugar free vanilla cake And had to use regular jello because of the aspartame in jello (diet ) And I used vanilla low carb ice cream Instead of pudding ( way to much sugar ) My husband is a diabetic . So I cut sugar where I could, on this dessert He also is allergic to aspartame . I did not use much ice cream , A little went a long way mixed with the cool whip . It was very good

When I made my pudding I didnt have regular milk and I had to use powdered milk and it didnt turn into pudding then I added the cool whip and it still didnt get thick. So I just added the food coloring and orange extract. Yes it was soupy but the cake is moist.

The recipe calls for Orange Juice, but I can't drink it as it tears up my in-sides pretty badly.

great recipe but you need to have the written recipe also. It was hard to see which size box of jello, pudding and cool whip you used. But great recipe all the same!
