Another thought that needs to be considered is that any 6* champ you take to sig 200, there is a chance you may pull them again at max sig and gain nothing from it. That is a hard pill to swallow and the reason why I leave many champs at sig 180.

Yeah I've done the same. Certainly a good call if you can afford not having the last 20 for prestige or function.

You and me both 😂 one thing to note about his sig beyond the relatively linear curve is that it increases both potency *and* duration, which means every bit helps, and significantly, but I'm still weighing how all in I want to go on him.

Thanks! And Nimrod’s sig is excellent, since it improves in two dimensions at once. That 35% is actually ~82%, iirc. As for him relative to the other two, that’s a personal call. You have to weigh prestige, masteries, and personal preference. Any of the three could be the right call, and all three benefit a lot

Yes I totally understand that about nimrods sig now thank you. 10 days to decide before overflow expire- This is one of my first rank ups where I havnt had to think about prestige. I just want to make sure it’s a useful sig up since I havnt used those champs really since changing into the 6* meta

I would have liked it anyway but once you included CapIW twice I absolutely had to. My biggest sig stone mistake was giving stones to Gulk early on when he was duped after about 10 6*s and I figured it would be years to get another dupe. Now he’s sig 240 and I wish I had those stones for Spidey99 or AntiVenom.

I agree on all your points about sig-ging up except for Mojo, he's a special case because the more sigs he has actually fuels more of his degen damage. Which is crucial for his usability and damage unlike your point on shang-chi. Otherwise, great and detailed video as usual!

I can definitely see that argument. Tripling his damage is huge. But I do think doubling his damage and unlocking the ramp is enough to justify ranking him given all his other utility. I'm speaking from how painful it is to use him unduped and how great a low sig one did for my alt, punching well above his rarity. But he definitely does get one of the best benefits from sig 200 of any mystic, so I don't fully disagree.

Excellent video. It makes sense, but I am now stumped on why Mole-Man is not a good champ to put stones into? Looking at the site and the numbers, it seems he’d be on fire to destroy defenders. What am I missing?

Love the question! He does indeed gain a lot of benefits, but for me the issue is that it scales with his missing health. So if you're playing well and have high health, you're getting almost nothing from it, and we usually try to keep ourselves healthy. He's not one I'd be sad to dupe, because we do often eventually lose health, but I think there are better uses for skill stones because my Plan A involves not really using his sig, if that makes sense.

@@Daddylonglegs93 Yeah, I guess that does make sense. Especially if you’re a good player. I know I would lose health. Lol. And now I’m wondering how people play him if not in AW. Meaning, there are some people that kill off NF for example to get the extra boost. I wonder if the people that say give him lots of stones, maybe purposely let him go down to gain the benefits, or maybe they don’t completely get how they affect him? It’s like when I asked an old alliance member about what to do with them, he said dump them all into Chi. Then I looked at Chi’s chart and was dumbfounded. That’s why I’m still sitting on them. Same thing with my CMM and Hercules.

Yeah I think it's very common for players to parrot wisdom about sig levels/requirements without putting them in the context of their own accounts, which is one of the reasons I made this. Shang-Chi can be an excellent investment (see Vega's r4), but he's definitely not an automatic one. Ultimately, most champions are decent investments - you should just be thinking these things through fully, imo.

I go to Aunt Mai often. For sure when awakening or new champ. Great on sig and really great on synergies. Agree that CapIW, it’s 200 for the purify with skill. But other abilities good at lower sig. He’s near 50% at Sig 20. I popped a basic yesterday. Did all the Voodoo, backed out, crystal dance, anddd Got my first natural sig 6 star 80 Vision Aarkus. It’s a shrug off, not bad. But not someone I was looking at. So many, many duped I want. Started playing him more. He’s definitely good, but yeah. Thanks for informing community on a great site and how to use it. I’ve an awakened 6 star Thor, going for 200 now! Nope. Really useful for AA. He’s great at sig 1.

I just looked at site. For Kitty 20 sigs gets to 25.02%. So 1 in 4 chance. Of course she still gets a lot. But also just an awakening, gives a lot more. Like Hype and CGR (but unlike them sig stones do help more).

For Kitty, I agree she gets a lot immediately, but I think I'd be aiming for about 60. The 30% she gets there is about half of what you get for sig 200, which like I said is a benchmark I end up using a lot. For iBomb, I agree with the conventional wisdom that he doesn't need it, but I also notice that sig 50 gets him to 2/3 of his sig 200 benefit, so that's probably where I'd be looking if I weren't going to use him for prestige. And then Thing, I think you really do want to get him to 200 because that's when the protection plus rock stacks adds up to 100%, but if you're using him for other utility, I think he's more in the "more is better" camp

Lots of folks would love a sig 80 VA. Just not the best rank up for my account. And never ever do ‘rage’ rankups. Bad enough ‘rage’ crystal openings.

I don’t have a ton of duped 6*s, but the ones I throw any sig stones into if they are expiring are colossus, herc, and void. I’ve got KP at his sweet spot, reed is sig60 as well, WM is totally fine at sig20, CGR is CGR, and korg is mainly for defense and I don’t want to pump sig stones in for a purely defensive (how I would use him) champ. Colossus I think gets the biggest benefit from that. (I don’t run suicides so herc isn’t as fun to play with that immortality when it goes away)

I personally am not a huge Colossus fan, but I understand the idea that he scales well. I'd encourage you to consider that Herc also gets extra combat power from his sig, though. Even without recoil, that's a really strong ability for him. But yeah that all sounds good for you. Nice!

@@Daddylonglegs93 for herc without suicides I mostly meant it isn’t as fun playing without the poison and free healing. And yeah for colossus I wasn’t a big fan of him, and then kmike shared how he played him, and I started using that (no parry heavy, just play normally with OR synergy, parry heavy if you want before sp2 and just watch everything die) and really enjoy him now. I love your “utility” videos, the ones that aren’t just champ reviews but vids on super interesting stuff that I debate about a lot but never really find a good resource on. 👍🏼
