I must've missed the buff in the character screen when testing, also the fact that the impact felt nonexistent(?) Anyway I still don't think the signature light cone is worth it. cadenza last for 1 turn, is it robin's turn? cause her turn takes so long in her ultimate, which might make the light cone somewhat worth it. or is it the ally's turn which would make it kind of bad considering how fast the ally usually moves.

Great video. I was going to skip her LC anyway, Jades are far too tight given the characters I want, but I was curious about the numbers. I will say I hope Hoyo continues to invite you to the Creator Server. Your coverage of Robin has been interesting and honestly the most informative of all the videos I've seen. Yep. Every single other theorycrafter out there ignores the fact that her ER% takes time to ramp up. Bronya LC at higher impositions -- I have 6 copies, S5 and S1 -- has more ER% and takes zero time to ramp up. It's always active.

Having a balance of buffs/debuffs is the perfect scenario. It's one of the reasons Ruan Mei/Sparkle/Silver Wolf/Acheron works so damn well. You get the following: Crit rate/dmg, Attack %, Damage boost, resistance pen, defense reduction, damage vulnerability, Speed, action advance, high toughness dmg

I think E0 is the best option with the free LC they are giving for Robin. E1 is a nice buff but not worth it. Better to save for more characters that you like.

5:10 There are two wrong minor details, the first being that SW max Res Shred is 33% and not 30%(you forgor to add her A6 to the calcs) and the seccond being that if the enemy is already weak to a certain element SW can't make it go lower than -13% Res because there is a condition on her skill which makes the -20% Res from the elment of the implanted weakness be nullified if the enemy is already weak to the implanted element, and there are no cases where the enemy is not weak to a element and has 0% Res for it to be a -33%. I know it does not change your point, but it's small correction about SW's kit because in practice what SW does to normal enemies is set their Res to -13%, and for enemies with elemental Res beyond normal is when it becomes a -33%.

Just to make it clear. What i mean is: Against Weak to X Element enemies SW is just a 13% Res Pen(Actually a Res Shred, but it does not change the final damage), but if the enemy is not weak to X element then it is a 33% and not just 30%.

The 48% attack buff on the lightcone does more than just boost Robin’s personal damage though… her attack buff in her kit scales with her own attack

I have been trying to delude myself so I don't need her as I am F2P and my resources were spent with Aventurine and you come and make such interesting vids is making me wanting to maybe go and grab my wallet. I am a sucker for singing units in games so Robin is was on my list provided I got Aventurine early but after losing my 50/50 and then getting on the 10th pull, the decision is becoming harder and harder. Either way thanks for the content, I really love how you explain all the ins and outs of the upcoming characters!

I agree the eidolon is better, that's what spenders should go for for sure, but considering LC is cheaper to get I still think it's worth it for f2p if they're intending to invest that much on her. ERR is awkward to accurately measure because it only feels significant when you end up slightly missing energy, but knowing how intricately the devs make things it's there for some specific setup. Personally, I spent all my currency this last patch so I'll just reach 50-50 and see what happens, hoping to get e0 to have some fun.

2:12 it doesnt really big of a deal because in ult state, when any ally hit enemy, robin will build her energy stack again. so Robin still get almost 100% energy buff uptime

Depending on the team, 5 hits could take 1 rotation. I honestly felt no difference when using her Sig in terms of energy. When her first ultimate duration ends, she still needs 1 skill or 1 skill + 1 hit to max her meter again. The same experience as when I use the 4-star event LC.

I'm guessing the higher base attack of robin's cone is not a significant increase to her attack buff? And also does the 48% attack buff from her lc to herself affect the attack buff she gives?

Her Lc has the highest base atk among the Harmony. And yes, both the allies buffing and Robin bonus damage for their attacks both scale on her Atk during her Ultimate. If you have Bronya Lc at s2 or higher i think it’s would be good enough. According to testers, the difference will be about 20% lower. Which is fine for a f2p option.

Also in the grand scheme of things, E1 is better because you can still use other LCs in the process. If you go for S1, there is an opportunity cost for not using other LCs.

oh this first time seeing that getting LC for character isn't that great, So bronya's LC would be better for her extra Skill point and having 10% extra Energy would be better for her since her LC loses that 15% when she ults, even though 24% damage to all allies is nice, but its only one turn though.

The 24% damage is tied to robin's own turn meaning all of the turns you take while in concerto are all buffed by the 24%

Bronya's LC gives 10-18% ERR, even within her Ultimate and 1 skill point on every second Ultimate, and has a decent base ATK, so it is a very good substitute, if not an upgrade.

Robin's E1 is kinda downplayed here - it's the best E1 in the game, significantly better than even RM's E1. The key thing to note is there are nearly no sources of res pen in this game whereas there are a shit ton of dmg percent sources. So in practice, a 24% dmg increase vs 24% res pen is more equivalent to 12% real damage increase vs. 24% (at minimum) real damage increase.

E1 Robin is better. Topaz E1 final dps increase is around 12,5% because of 2 reasons, Ratio is already building a heck ton of Crit Damage, so due to diminishing returns the final increase is way smaller, and there is another problem, Topaz E1 only applies to FuA damage, Ratio still has some 20-30% damage that is not from FuA and can't use the extra CD.

i think E2 more likely going to help her refill the meter better and as a support. but i havent done any calculation , me personally will take E2 since her free LC already cover alot of dmg and probably just slightly under from her own LC

E1S1, the extra speed from E2 is only usefull if you want to run attack boots on 0c+the LC is already giving extra ERR that the E2 will give, also, S1 will increase her personal damage a lot. pull priority E1>S1>E2. idk about E3+ but E4 is mid AF and just a bait.

E1 basically just gives Robin Pen of 12% she doesn't compare to Ruan Mei at E0 still helpful Light Cone will be more helpful not sure what would be better for her since Robin has 160 Energy ult it take long for her build it up, that Bronya for energy at S1 would be better Edit: oh they changed Pen to 24% in early testings it was only 12%

I dont think she need any ER Lightcone, you can see in Lily's gameplay video with Ratio, she can cast her ultimate 2x with no downtime, and that is only with 1 FUA character, if you have 3 FUA characters her energy gonna overcap. also because she can't act during her ultimate the 2nd part of Bronya's LC is useless.

Lily knows what a budget player like me is thinking. I have Bronya's signature LC and moreover I use Huo Huo a lot. Personally my conclusion is: Go for Robin's Eidolon 1.
