Sounds like an amazing practice! I’m an MS1 interested in ophthalmology and medical innovation too! Do you have any suggestions for summer 2023 innovative experiences/internships?

Wow, congratulations!! Sounds like an incredible opportunity! It’s funny, just last week I was looking at Vance Thompson as a potential place to apply for an Optometry residency. They have a wonderful reputation. I’ve heard of them and I don’t live anywhere near SD

I don't typically sign with a practice, but when I do: I do so with advice from Dr Eyeball :)

This sounds like a life-changing opportunity! Congratulations Zac! If the interview was that rigorous, it sounds like the position was well earned. It's a long way to South Dakota- will your partner be joining you after she finishes her fellowship? Congrats again.

Hi, it’s hard to say without seeing your hands but there are medications that can help with severe tremors. I think you’d have to have a pretty severe tremor to not be able to do at least some type of surgery. Some types definitely require less dexterity and finesse- so there’s probably options. Best of luck to you!

Are they good people? Best way to tell that is the contract. I hope you hired a lawyer to go through it. You sound very trusting. There are practices that will completely screw over young doctors like yourself. Tread carefully.
