The moment they first announced the decision not to stock Australia Day merchandise, I immediately stopped shopping at all Woolworths group stores. Even though they've changed, I haven't. Go Woke, Go Broke is not a meaningless slogan from the USA. It is a call to arms by the majority of consumers and the weapon of choice is their wallet and purse. Personally, I do usually buy Australia Day merchandise. Very different matter if you tell me that I cannot buy it. My immediate reaction will be to boycott your business and deliberately spend with your competitors. I also have got a long memory and have recently stopped my boycott against Made in France products sparked by their Pacific nuclear testing that finally stopped in 1996.
