@@abekabe678 Sure it is a good point and I agree with you, The only thing is that he already had a dream career. When I ask to have Video calls( never had them) to help with the long distance but he said he was often at work and meetings. He added “you want a husband 24/7” It hurt … When I had said from the beginning I don’t want a husband but a friendship or companionship of partnership He also added that he was not a fan of any relationship.. in my view any connection, mentally, spirituality and physically especially a strong one ? He also added that good friends should respect each others. It just happened I am a fan of any relationship .. marriage is not on my radar especially in my later life. And this connection was special.. was I naive ? Things were said and mutual Was this a ploy for him? Come on .. a mature man, single and busy kept coming back to me with texts etc.. there’s a point where things should be clarified .. what’s your take on this abekabe678?

Thank you so much. Majority of these red flags were with my Long Distance Turkish man. He always never responded to deep questions, never wanted to introduce me to his tamily. I waster 5 months. He was coming April 2024 for Marriage. I told him I wont marry him until he introduce me to his family, show me death certificate of his wife, to allow me to work in his country . He ended up blocking me. He only liked sex talks, nothing like developmental stories. Off course we had language barrer but. I was wasting time with a big player and narcissistic person. I learnt a lesson.

I met a man through a shared interest, not looking for dating. As people, we sort of hit it off at first. We had a LOT in common and I think, as two humans, genuinely enjoyed the presence of the other. As we got to know each other, I found out he had been a player, in essence, until he actually got in trouble with the LAW and got knocked out of the game a few years earlier. He was now trying to rid himself of the player vibe and be a good guy. I had become romantically attracted to him by this point, but I'm not an idiot, so I was super cautious to see what would happen. It was like he was multiple people all at once. Sometimes he acted like a player towards me, which was infuriating. Other times he acted like a good guy. The best way I can describe the interaction is that it felt like his inconsistency was happening because part of him, the player part, saw me as an easy target to "play," but not someone he was genuinely interested in. The other part, trying to rid himself of his player ways, made him hold back from engaging fully because he knew he wasn't genuinely interested in a romantic relationship with me. And so he went back and forth in his actions and probably internally. Thankfully, I never actually got involved with him physically or romantically, but I had never encountered something like this before. The kinds of mixed signals were not typical either and incredibly bizarre. I figured if he couldn't figure out what he wanted, I shouldn't have to wait around and do it for him, so I cut and run.
