I’m to the point where I’m having panic attacks every day before he gets home, because I do not know who he’s going to be when he walks through the door. I’m even warning the children sometimes because he comes in all spikey and mean. Blech!! I hate this!!!

I’m really glad you talked about emotions. My husband is really stoic and his parents neglected him a lot so he learned to keep to himself. So I understand why he does this, but not knowing his emotions does put me on eggshells and I never know which emotions he is going to have. I haven’t heard this in another video so Kudos to you for mentioning that. This helps me greatly. Iwill talk to him about him about it sometime.

All great points! Toxicity is horrible. Get out & get away when those red flags creep in.

“If you in a relationship and you’re not able to get out… the.n you gotta get out” Um ok. Yeah that makes perfect sense 🤪 This is the reason most people stay one unhealthy relationships. Because everyone just tells them they have to get out. No one acknowledges the trauma bonding, the fear, the finances the timing, etc. This biggest issue is that people cannot get themselves out of these types of relationships. We need to change that mindset. Often times we are told to lean on family members but what if they are toxic too? What if we don’t know what is going to happen if we call a domestic abuse hotline. Why are their no videos on that? Does it take you out from the only city or environment that you feel comfortable in? How come all this weight is being put in the victim who is already going through a really hard to time?!? We as a society still need to change our thinking on some things.

One year in and I'm so hurt and confused. One day he's kind and the man I married, the next he hates me, says he wants "more" from me, that my anxiety attacks are a burden, I'm not in shape, that I'm not trying, that I'm not enough. The days he's nice are so confusing and I've lost trust in his motivations for marrying me. He only likes me when he wants something or is trying to do damage control. He gets mad if I'm "still upset" over a painful argument where he gave me his wedding ring back. He never bought me one and has every excuse why he hasn't. Then he asks me why should he... I feel gutted and petty for asking. I put so much into this emotionally and financially. I no longer believe in soulmates. I feel worthless and exhausted. I don't know what to do. I've been such a fool and now he's blaming me for us not getting along. He gets angry when he hurts my feelings and attacks more. I just want peace. I just want to disappear.

The pain is unreal !!!! I'm so sad for you... I feel the pain, in your words... If I could take it, I would... I wish i could rescue every person sitting alone feeling this way... Your guy sounds like he has some narcissistic traits... If you can get out.... Do it.... They never change and

Kristin what is your opinion on how forgiving your partners many mistakes but when we make our first mistake they play the victim?
@KristinCoaching5 жыл бұрын
It sounds unfair and one-sided. And sounds like the partner isn't being empathetic or understanding.
