They are both so well written and have horror, humour, love, despair, terror, science, space/space ships, monsters/aliens (including the incredible artistry of Geiger), fun, excitement, amazing one-liners, incredible actors, brilliant direction etc etc etc They are just perfect cinema/movie experiences.

Sigourney Weaver as Ripley was one of the most badass characters ever. She is iconic, particularly in the sci-fi realm. I'd love to see her join the Star Wars universe, like what Katie Sackhoff did after Battlestar Galactica. Sigourney would fit in well!

I love the nightmare scene in Aliens because when the Xenomorph comes up through her rib cage the prostetic stretched her belly button and made it look so real you could believe it was actually happening and the fact that Sigourney Weaver is a fantastic in every film she is in
