I wonder if, perhaps it's not having extra confidence that allows her to go without make-up etc - perhaps more a lack of contrivance and a quiet self-esteem. Unlike most media people (and consumers of media) Sigrid isn't caught up in the ugly capitalist cycle of looking overdone in order to stave off insecurities because everyone else looks overdone / overtly sexualised. I think this seems to escape most people - they acknowledge the problem but fail to recognise that they're perpetuating it with their own vanity. This is also why I'm taking my 7 yr old daughter to see Sigrid in concert - but I would NEVER expose her to Little Mix et al...

Sigrid and Kristina have such a powerful understanding and respect for each other it is mesmerising. Between them they really present each of Sigrid's songs in such a fresh way each and every time. They are able to change the beat, tempo and style in the blink of an eye and harmonise (without it seems) any practice whatsoever, such is their talent. It is a real pleasure to watch them do anything, but I do love these acoustic versions especially. My only regret is that Sigrid doesn't release more of these versions of her songs.
