Of course I liked this reaction. And I'm super happy to see that you reacted the way you did, too. I was kinda hoping that, based off of the other Norwegian artists that you have liked so far. Sigrid write all of her material, and this one is indeed from her brain. I believe there is another song out there by the same name, by a rather famous artist, but I can't recall by whom. This song is a bit different from Sigrid, as she's mostly in the pop genre, but the sucker for voices that I am, I'm still enjoying listening to her voice and watching her energy. She's a VERY genuine artist, as you will see. This is not to say that her pop stuff isn't good, because it really is. It's just not my preferred genre so to speak. Sigrid is another artist from Norway that goes somewhat beneath the radar. Underrated if you will. Gotta go now, but I'll talk to you soon. Have a great Sunday ! Norway out :-)

I don't know what's in the water in Norway Bob , but yes sigrid is a amazing Young talented lady , and a beautiful person. she came to my attention around 2 years ago , her voice is so unique , you have seen nothing yet Bob. not all her songs are like this, she is very versatile , she is a great mover /dancer .but not in the conventional sense. she is poppy but not cheesy.she has a unique sound. DYNAMITE was co written by sigrid with 2 others including the producer.

Hi, Modern Life for the 70's Mind, thank you for a very nice reaction. You are expressive yourself:) You picked the right one to start to know her. The recording was done in her parents home! She does conserts in US the 4' and 6' of april this year, The fonda Theatre, LA and Brooklyn Steel, Brooklyn. Her pop-music is a kind of different from the mainstream and sometimes it needs several listenings. She has released two EP’s and the debut album Suckerpunch in 2019. Sigrid (25 - norwegian) won the BBC sound of 2018 (synth-pop!). Other winners from the past: Adele, 50 cent, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding... She is the first artist outside UK and America to win the award. Her songs can be vulnerable and an explosion of feelings. Her concerts are known for «feeling good vibes» and energy on the stage. Her music is empowering, and she is just being herself….in jeans most of the time! Sigrid has released three new songs from her new upcoming album the 6’ of may this year: Mirror, Burning bridges and the latest It gets dark Sigrid - Mirror - KZbin (Funfact: US: Sigrid scores her first No. 1 on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart as "Mirror" shines atop the survey dated Sept. 4. She was very surprised!) Sigrid - Burning Bridges - KZbin Sigrid is known for upbeat songs. What’s interesting is that she often makes both an upbeat and acoustic version of the same song. That tells me she is something! Why not do both in one reaction and you will see the artist? Acoustic, a must! So different and beautiful. Video was taken at a street in London. I think you will love it. Sigrid - Burning Bridges (Up Close, Acoustic) - KZbin Sigrid - It Gets Dark - KZbin This one is a kind of different, more pop-rocky Other recommendations: Home to you ( It was part of the soundtrack in Motion Movie Aeronauts 2019) Sigrid - Home To You (Live on Stand Up To Cancer UK 2021) - KZbin Sigrid - RAW, video (85% acoustic) from EP 2017 kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJzTqIOBj8eSkNE Live cover (just with her gitarist and co-singer) Bellyache, a cover of Bilie Eilish, P3 Session (Swedish radio) kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqOYZpmAjMt-jLc Live cover Watermelon sugar (Harry Styles) P3LIVE: Sigrid - «Watermelon sugar» (cover) - KZbin

Great reaction. If you want more, her latest song "It gets dark" is a good one. Much of her music is synthpop, but this one has more of a rock sound. She also always does acoustic versions of her singles in addition.
