Incredibly moving. Musically superb. The imagery and musical narratives actually interact so successfully that it simultaneously becomes goose bump and lump in the throat time. I still haven't been able to figure out why the music of Sigur Ros has such a lasting effect on the emotions but perhaps that's the whole point: not to seek to understand but just to let the glorious music flow over body, mind and spirit . . .

Whilst Whaling is something I'm personally against, every nation on this planet has done or is doing some barbaric things. That doesn't mean all the people condone these acts, I don't know Sigur Ros' members personal view on Whaling. But it is possible for beauty and ugliness to exist in the same person let alone a whole country. Humans like nature are complicated and confusing for sure.
