It's pretty basic. They didn't made something new with this record imo. Kveikur was a real blast in their discography ans just one year after Valtari wich was also a huge banger. 8 sounds just like some songs they had in their computers and that's it. I would prefer a Liminal version of this album, but it's maybe because i'm a huge fan of their side projects more than what they have done recently as a band.
