Sika foam sucks ass unless you want a wobbly post.
@laxbum40ifyАй бұрын
I've never had that issue using that.
@MrEski22Ай бұрын
@laxbum40ify wait for a few months. The fence may be standing but it won't be strong 💪

@MrEski22 have you ever used this product?
@MrEski22Ай бұрын
@spicetea5489 Yes, had to have a 300' fence up in 2 days. The foam is fast, for sure. I was initially very impressed. That was in October. By January 1/2 of the posts were leaning over and the fence looks awful. I've been digging out the foam and resetting the posts in concrete this last week. The other issue I have with the foam is that there is no good way to shape it so water drains away from the post. Luckily I always tar my posts 6" above final grade so I can sleep at night. I don't care what people use on their own projects but I feel like people should know the foam is not as great as it looks and concrete is the best option although labor intensive.

So bad for the environment, never mind the stability of the fence. Negative on the foam from me.
@PYROHIAN89Ай бұрын
much cheaper to just buy , 5 gallon jugs of expanding foam, this looks like cheap foam too
@blaisetruesdell9924Ай бұрын
Or just use concrete
@chanceland-od2btАй бұрын
5 gallon cans of foam are like $400 and that’s cheap with a discount. Whatttttt the actual fuck are you talking about
@blaisetruesdell9924Ай бұрын
Not as cheap or as effective or as long term or as environmentally friendly as concrete...
@PYROHIAN89Ай бұрын
@@chanceland-od2bt yea but you get many many many uses out of those these bags are 1 per hole.....
@chanceland-od2btАй бұрын
@@PYROHIAN89that’s fair I see your point. I think it’s hard to beat the price and the more “environmental friendly” concrete. You’re right though, you’d fill a ton of holes with the big cans of foam.

What do you do when the product breaks down in a couple of years?
