In my experience, the most common way of improving resilience for Marines was copious amounts of caffeine and alcohol. 👍

Getting grunts to tell you how they really feel, especially while they are still active, is impossible. You have to be close to that service member. At this point, family doesn’t understand, and they think that these modules gives them some sort of insight. That’s how you get the positive reviews. Also, who’s doing the review? Is the army conducting their own case study? PowerPoint classes for days.

The only time my guys ever opened up to me was like 20 beers in at 3 in the morning on a work day and it's really sad to see just how close to breaking all these dudes are.
