If you think I wasn't using Lasha for the day that's in to exploit the algo you've got another thing coming... but if you want a full reaction we'll do it. No problem. Just give the word.

Your reaction videos are my favourite videos. I'll watch 2 hours of you reacting to arbitrary weightlifting and just having some banter. Never mind Lasha.

I found that this portion of the lift came relatively naturally once I fixed my start position and focusing on bringing the bar back into me (converging centers of mass). Would you kindly dive into the turnover? Something I feel I need a lot of work on is pulling under aggressively with control, particularly with the snatch.

0:31 Passage is German, the e ain't silent but makes a schwa sound. Same meaning as in English. Posted a wiktionary link but KZbin deleted it for some reason, so here's another comment on that 🤷‍♂

Great video, currently have trouble with rushing after the knee and coming up on my toes early, so I think that pauses are going to help a lot

I don't use lifters anymore, since while I love weightlifting, CrossFit and being generally fit is more important, and I'm tired of feeling wonky going from lifters to normal WOD shoes. So with that, I've stuck with not moving my feet in the snatch and clean, and it not only feels better, but I'm supah consistent.

Hey maybe you guys can do a video on Sarah Robles‘ technique or something. I‘ve always thought her snatch was super nice and fast

Do sets x reps matter for size & strength when volume & weight on the bar is same? For example, would there be a difference in doing 3x8 & 5x5 both at 68% intensity.
@horizonforevergold
@horizonforevergold 3 жыл бұрын
Depends on your goals but 3*8 would illicit a better training effect (hypertrophy and capacity) 6*5 would be light so a lighter strength session. Could also be a in between session when you transfer to strength block

short ans: NO, sets and reps do not matter when volume is matched ONLY IF the effort/RIR/proximity to failure is approximately the same. therefore, 3*8 at 68% would elicit better muscular gain then 5*5 at 68% becoz 68% for 8 reps is definitely closer to failure
