I appreciate the description you gave about pulling to the breast bone and the timing from changing from the legs to the arms. It makes more since to me to hear it that way. I always pull too early with my arms and make the barbell too heavy as a result.

Hi Gabriel, Thank you for this video, :) It will really help me improve my 2nd pull. As you said, mid thigh as the contact is also ok (please correct me if I am wrong) as I am currently having a hard time keeping the hip contact due to the length of my arms :)

Thank you Gabrielle for all your information. I am a beginner and I am having issues with my right wrist when snatching (I am right-handed). The pain goes a little bit with the warm-up but it is takes more and more time to quite go and it is quite limiting... my right wrist is not as flexible as my left wrist which I have no issues with. The pain makes my elbow fold. Should I go past the pain and continue? Are there tips to improve my wrist mobility for the snatch. Thank you again Gabriel.

Hey Gabriel, why do some athletes have in the clean 2 pull that "flows", (ex. ruslan narudinov) is that a mistake in technique?

Great Video, for the snatch strength exercises what combination of squats to pulls do you recommend and at what percent of maximum lift. If for easier numbers your snatch is 100kg, clean & jerk is 125 and front squat is 140 and back squat is 160 what ratios or complex do you put together & how many times per week?

Yes, I would really like to hear the percentages calculations for the snatch. I’m never going to be strong, so I like to try to become more efficient. It would be great to have some metrics to aim for. Also, I liked the little bit of Romanian - I’m familiar with Slavic languages, but only have a little knowledge of the Romance languages: I found it interesting to hear how much like Latin it is! Super interesting.
