If you love the Sikh brothers and sisters - truly, you would share the Gospel of Jesus the Saviour so that they may receive eternal life. There is One and only Saviour of and for the humanity, just like one mother give birth to 1 child not 2 or more mothers/women to give birth to the same 1 child. I pray God give you wisdom, insights & understanding to comprehend the divine truth...of God - God the Father, God the So and God the Holy Spirit...

You know, the Sikh are more inline with the Monotheistic Faiths, than the Trinity/Jesus/Roman Catholic based versions. Frankly, when you drop the Trinity, all of a sudden the top religions of the world are suddenly WORLDS closer in agreement. I digress... But I encourage EVERYONE to read all inspired scriptures, or purported to be inspired, and pray and meditate on what you learn. This also enlightens ones about others beliefs, helps discussions of God when you have more in common to talk about (Ministry for example, over dinner for example). I think A TON of it is ALL TRUE. Different points of views, different scholars, different histories, its all important, even if it doesn't "apply to you". There is no GOD the Holy Spirit, Holy spirit is God's Active force - It filled multiple people at once at Pentecost, it was God's spirit upon them, which is Holy spirit, its not a separate entity. It's god's active force. Feel Holy spirit? That's God. Its to help us, that's why its called the Helper. Notice it's never said any quotes or words or anything? God Speaks using his holy being - his magic if you like. He can touch all of us at once if he wants. Besides, Holy spirit isn't a proper name, its SPIRIT that is HOLY, God names everyone... that's not a name, its a description.

Going to gurdhwara every sunday (first day of the week) is a sin and the same as idolatry. Either we worship God the Father in spirit and truth or we do not. We must worship the true God the way he pleaseth in his holy days, new moons and sabbaths. Stop worshipping Satan the dragon every sunday. Have a good remnant of the year. Observing sunday, Easter, Christmas, thy birthday, independence day, turkey day, new year's day is idolatry and observing times. Stop worshipping the dragon every sunday. The LORD is our righteousness so we should follow his standard and what he did. The Lord Jesus blessed, sanctified and hallowed the seventh day sabbath. He did not bless sunday the first day nor friday the sixth day. Let us worship God our Father in spirit and in truth, not Satan the dragon. I love both of these religions for different reasons. I love Christianity for the pure love, grace and redemption that Christ offers... for the idea that God loved us so much that He made Himself into human form to give us a better idea of how to live, and an example in form of pure love. I love Sikhism for the idea of God living inside us, that there is a divine essence in us which can be sparked and grown bigger and bigger, overwhelming the layers of falsehood, shame and lies of the mind and the poison we all have to contend with in life. But I experience Sikhism via kundalini yoga, so a lot of that happens with the breath and meditation, and I love to use this to physically change the body, create a pure vibration using breath and mantra... a technology of purification and balance. I sometimes feel guilty for combining the two, and yet I also have an urge for oneness, that all that has been given can be combined and used, and that the religions of the world can stop competing and co-exist. True that Christianity gives me love, and Sikhism gives me courage. The One God above both also gives love, and I feel Him/Her as absolutely loving, and wanting relationship with us. I am unsure in this day and age how to practice... whether on my own, with yoga and meditation, going to church, or gurdwara at the yoga centre. I do come up short when I go to church, as though I love the praise, and the spirit of God is there, and often makes me to cry cleansing tears, the doctrine stops me in my tracks often. Yet if I go only to gurdwara, somehow the love of Christ continues to knock on the door of my heart, so that is not complete either.

Chelsea Mercer Hi Chelsea, Sikhi would encourage you to love Christ as love is the way to God. Dont feel that Guru Nanak Dev ji is competing with Christ. Guru encourages us to love all the Saints and Enlightened Ones as they can do grace and forgive us our sins. SIkhi is the path of all the Saints.. Guru Granth Sahib ji has the writings of 36 people in it for that reason. Kabeerji, Fareed Ji, all the Gurus, they can also be loved and worshipped like Christ. Me personally I got a lot of love for Christ and I know a lot of Christians. Expand you heart and love the Gurus and all the Saints too!

I agree... Personally... Although the Sikhi have scriptures lauding the Yogi's - I tend to tread lightly because there is a false God component in there - at least its a name I don't recognize - Let me put it like this - I've been a martial artist for most of my life - though not always "regularly going" to classes - because the classes are usually some form of black art - "Power from the Dragon" - etc. Use your "Chi" power? I think there is something to "our energy" call it chi if you like - but as you progress in these "religions" of martial arts - the real ones that are spiritual etc... they tend to get a boost from "The Dragon" - This is where my conscience kicks in ... hmm... So... While the Sikh Gurbani has me looking at Yogi's differently... I think I'm done going to training unless its not-spiritual based or I'd happily take lessons from the Sikh warriors who teach Sikh Martial Arts - as they get their "extra" power from God - I believe that. In exchange, for even the possibility of help from God, they are not allowed to use it for anything except to preserve and protect God's people from oppression and abuse. I'm down with that party. "Self Defense" - Even Peter Brandished a Sword... Though he got chastised for hacking someone's ear off - Jesus made it clear... Living by the Sword, there is no reward... but self defense? Or stepping in to defend a weak one against a bully? I'm down with that party. No oppression in God's Kingdom, No shame either. As for Worshiping Jesus and also going to the Gurdwara? I'm with you on that one - the Sikh are the Only religion that welcomes you to come and worship with them and have some food, eat, socialize a little, though I got to say - in my Gurdwara - there isn't much in the way of English speakers - so we do a lot of smiling and giggling when serving food and pouring drinks etc - because we can't "talk" about what we see - but we sure laugh and giggle and smile alot. I Love being at the Gurdwara - you don't feel as though if you open your mouth people are trying to find fault in every word and tell you you're going to BURN if you "have an idea" etc.... I totally feel the Sikh are blessed by God - I can see it in the fruits of the spirit of the sikh, I can see it in lifestyle, I can see it in devotion, frankly many put me to shame - LOL - I've also experienced the SAME HOLY SPIRIT in there as I have other churches... or while not in church - UNLIKE the contrast of "No Holy spirit" in my favorite Chinese Kung-Fu or Karate schools, or that feeling you get when you realize your surrounded by people in a church that laud Jesus but say you're going to Hell if you think YHWH/Waheguru is GOD and Jesus is only his Son, not God himself. Note - Not all Sikh are perfect - but compared to many peoples... I'd say the Sikh really stand out as representatives for the Living God. I used the BIBLE to make sure I wasn't going down some satanic path - I used the bible to know whether or not I should research further - and by the Fruits of their Spirit - Well... That's a BIBLE DEFINED IDENTIFICATION CARD for Lovers of GOD - So.... I dug deeper. Biggest differences? No Messiah Teaching and their Promise has reincarnation - I follow the Messiah, and have no reincarnation promise. This isn't a show stopper for me... God makes promises to whomever he wants, and he keeps his promises... so... I don't think God plans on having me reincarnated, I'm on the Jesus - Keep My Identity Plan. The Sikh are on the "I'll go Wherever God Puts Me" thought wave I'd say is fairly accurate - forgive my mistakes. Romans 14:4 - Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. Peace.

Perhaps when Jesus said I am the only way to god, he meant that the truth is the only way and since Jesus was one with the truth, that would make perfect sense and be true. But as Jugraj Singh explains in this video, the truth is not exclusive to any one religion or person. There has been saints in every age and you'll notice that the devine truth they speak of is the same. Becoming one with the truth is the goal for a Sikh. We don't believe you have to wait to meet god but you can actually experience god while alive through selfless kind acts and meditation on God's name.

Just a bit of context to the Lords prayer... "Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. "So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. "When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. "And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. "Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 'Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. 'Give us this day our daily bread. 'And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 'And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [ For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.' ] For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. "Whenever you fast, do not put on a gloomy face as the hypocrites do, for they neglect their appearance so that they will be noticed by men when they are fasting. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face so that your fasting will not be noticed by men, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. "The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. "For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear for clothing?' For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6 : 1 - 34

Basics of Sikhi what is the sikh explanation of how sin entered the world?
@karmananand14396 жыл бұрын
According to Sikhi there are 5 evils inside our body which are sexual desires, anger, greed, attachment and pride. These 5 evils give birth to temptation through which a person leaves consciousness of God and gets involved in sin. How sin entered the world is not the matter bcz it has already entered. U shld ask how to wash away these sins from inside us.
@jasonsage14176 жыл бұрын
Additionally, my two cents is, that Sikhi doesn't conflict with the scriptures - it's another "thread" of truth, one that was handed to the Sikh. God has a track record of "Stepping" in time to time... And nothing is impossible with God.. and then I compared the Sikhi people and this "Basics of Sikhi", especially PunRaj Singh (who recently passed, I'm very grateful I stumbled on these videos) .. basically how he, in particular, speaks to other people of faith seemed to SCREAM "Led by the Holy Spirit" .. based on the bible scripture of how to recognize these fruits of the spirit in the letter to the Galations... Galations 5:22 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And when I compare Sikhi Gurbani to what we Judeo folks (mostly) call our "Inspired Scriptures" such as the bible and other writings yanked or not added like Enoch which is referenced in the Bible... I don't see a difference except that the promises for the Sikh are bloodline based, and between them and God. I figure Love God and Love Neighbor, according to Jesus, are the two most important commands... and that all the laws and all the prophets are based upon those. Coupled with how the Sikhi are servants of humanity, to protect and serve the people ... Like being a First Responder as a "Religeous Tenet" is kinda how I see them in many ways - they see us all as God's Property and make it their business to Grow with God and to treat all of God's Children as God's Property deserving of God's forgiveness, and grace, and strength, and they want people to have a personal relationship with God through prayer and meditations on scripture and spiritual things... to music... all Guardwara serve food whether you're just hungary or are a Sikh, or just curious... It's a come one come all.. lets pray to God together agenda - I rather LOVE IT. I personally didn't "convert", but kind of - I adopted the Sikh tenets except Kirpan - though not opposed to them, I try to remember the Word of God is my Sword... but don't think I won't rip off my kara's and use them as brass knuckles... No oppression in God's Kingdom... The Sikh stand up for the oppressed, I'm down with that Party. Bullies Stink. Feeding the poor, the whole non-convert - take some Sikhi Home With you idea, the "if you don't have a God, sure you can be a Sikh" (Sounds like my God to me... Even Gentiles could join the Israelites before Jesus came... God never told humans "go away" on the contrary he always says "Turn back to Me" and "Repent" of wrongdoing and lawlessness. Serve God Almighty and No Other - Sikhi Do That :) I'm convinced the Sikhi are blessed... I'm also convinced if I'm wrong, I can't lose anything and this is why - Nothing in the Sikhi scripture I've read to date has blasphemed or completely contradicted science and other such folly that indicates "inspiration" might of been just men without help... versus "inspiration from God" Reading Sikhi Gurbani is much like a HUGE book of Psalms with some historic content and context... but wow - it's all "Songs to God" - All to praise God - in fact their whole emphasis is Love God, Love Neighbor - and Lots of Prayers and Supplication and life style changes to live piously and/or more in line with God's ways... which align with the Law of Moses in such a way - I think it uncanny. The Morality taught in Gurbani matches the same moral code of conduct I get from the bible, except I see more Sikh doing it than many other faiths - Notice, the Sikh don't condemn you if you disagree on an item... they just discuss it - see if we can or can't make sense of it - no hate - no condemnation - just people discussing their Heavenly Father - which the bible says is blessed... I imagine screaming matches aren't as blessed as when both parties are seeking truth together and stuff.... Anyways - because I'm not converting, while I do all the Sikh stuff pretty much... Kara, Beard Comb, Don't cut Hair, Servant of Humanity, Love God, Love All, trying to be a perfect vegetarian - (I struggle here) ... Head covering... (I do own, but not wear, a purple turbin) I tend to wear the headcovering that goes under the Turbin or a head-scarf or something. I don't really like being called a Christian because there are 40,000+ versions and none agree totally - there is truth in there - but it's been attacked and confused by the adversary a long time me thinks. I'd like to be a Nazarene Like Jesus... They had God's Holy Spirit upon them... I think God's holy spirit is a moving Target... as it left the Pharisees but was still among the Nazarenes... so the best I can tell... is I'm like Nanuk's buddy who was a follower of Nanak, but didn't renounce his religion... that's me... not technically a Nazarene or "Early Christian" ... But I'm down with the Early Christians and the Sikhi - and since I've added Sikhi, it's changed my outlook on other faiths and peoples and tribes and tongues... To my condemning folks who believe in the Trinity... If Jesus is God, How Is Worshiping God denying God? It doesn't. If Jesus is God's son, and the bible says many times no man can see God's face and live... and that after Jesus Died, it still says even then that no man hath ever seen God... (John 1:18) - Are they disobeying Jesus in regard to worship? Jesus said, all Praise goes to the Father. The Sikhi teach, all Praise goes to the Father, The Muslims believe all Praise goes to the Father, The Christians are mixed - Trinitarians Versus Non-Trinitarians on this point... If Jesus is God himself, how is it he is the Mediator to God? How does that work? How does this happen: Jesus is getting baptized right? What Happens? Matthew 3:17 - And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Me thinks two people... Jesus Prayed... Nuff Said. The Common retort "No One Is saved Except By Jesus" Bible Says No One Saved except through Jesus, if Jesus God - No Contest. Worshiping God Suffices. In fact the bible never says to worship Jesus. The Sikhi TRUST God WILL HANDLE IT regardless - based on Faith that God is trustworthy and fair and the source of all Life and deserves our Love, as he Loves Us. We could learn something from this kind of faith... John 20:29 - Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Without the tale of Jesus, the Sikhi still Trust God's very capable hands and are in complete subjection to his laws and ways... it's evident in their lifestyle and their teachings. Basically, nothing in the Sikhi doctrine says if God puts someone in as King, they won't listen. Their ears are to the ground concerning other religions - they are just focused on More GOD, Less fruitless quarrels. 2 Timothy 2:23 NIV - Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. So anyway - I think TRUTH plus TRUTH equals more TRUTH. I think the Sikh are one of God's Folds... and I'm proud to stand with them and worship with them... -- Christian Sikh

I have struggled with what I'm about to write here because I didn't know whether I should be open about a recent experience I had and also because as a Sikh having an experience of another religion was awkward for me. So here goes, just over a month or so ago I had a divine experience. I was transported to a place in the middle east I'm thinking possibly modern day Israel. I had taken a seat within the body of someone who had lived many years ago and I became an observer in their lived experience. I don't know if the person was male or female I just was experiencing what happened to them. I was sitting in a plastered home where the walls were yellow creamy coloured. My home was just the one small room and the windows and doors were just open holes. It was the size of a hut and part of a terrace of homes built in the same way. It was a sunny day and warm. This experience was a matter of seconds but felt much longer. As I sat suddenly my body started to fill with what I can only say was bliss, the momentum and intensity of this bliss increased and I felt like something is coming. As I looked up through the window and door I saw the light becoming whiter and brighter and with this increase came the bliss, a man dressed in a white robe with a blue pencil line around his cuffs and bottom of his robe passed in front of my home. I somehow knew this to be the historical figure of Jesus. The home was flooded with light and bliss, my heart and head were filled with a happiness I have never felt. As he passed I thought in my mind "come back" and he returned and stood in my doorway. As I tried to make out his face he matched my honing in with more white light to the point where I could no longer see him at all and I was blinded by white light of ever increasing intensity. He was saying that he was not his body but was the bliss that was bursting through my body filling my heart and head. And just like that I returned back to me. Now I am a Sikh but I also believe in Jesus because I have had an experience that I cannot deny. The experience I had noone has ever described that this is what Jesus was. I know now that as this person came into the vicinity of others everyone was filled with a feeling that something great, glorious is about to happen and the intensity of this process and its effect confirms to me that no one could possibly question its divinity. I never knew what bliss was, I do now. It is a sad reality that over time the details of religious figures becomes diluted, people only record the words. The awe is missing, without knowing people could feel something great is about to happen this is the effect of divinity, that people's bodies filled with joy due solely to the presence of one person. Please don't take my words as any conversion testimony I have no interest in changing religion I want to share my experience that's all.

Christianity can't be compared with any Eastern Religions. I am a Punjabi Christian from Amritsar, the holy Land. I love my Sikh Bros. I have been to Darbar Sahib, Nice hospitality. But I tell u this Christanity stands alone over all Religions. Christian faith is the only faith that talks about redemption, justice, and Total Forgiveness.. Eastern Religions say Man is good but Christanity says Man is wretched a sinner and in need of A Savior a Redeemer.

Great video. I see the parallels with Christianity. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, although I was not raised in that culture. As a truth seeking, young adult, I asked God to show me if Jesus was real, if he really died for my sins.That is when he made himself known to me in person. It has been an amazing relationship. Christians understand the mystery of the Trinity. The Father- creator, who is all and in all, the Son-Messiah/Savior, and the Holy Spirit- the Spirit of God who renews our spirit, then lives in us, teaching, guiding...

However, Sikhi is not just about personal meditation, its about giving ourselves to Guruji and following his commands and seeking his blessings. Indeed, I totally agree with you. This is what I think Guru Nanak was teaching us when he let the Guruship progress from him to the second Guru. Guru Angad, the second Guru was first a discliple, totally devoted and both following Gurus wisdom as well as having faith, and he was given the Guruship. Now every Sikh should aspire to be part of the Guru Khalsa Panth, the collective body of Guru (his hands and feet). Peace

No, the teaching of Christ is that someone who disobeys God is already dead. The so-called judgment is merely the confirmation of this dead state of the soul, and the sending of this soul to where it resonates: hell. Since we have all sinned, we are all already dead; and so Christ bore the curse of sin(i.e. death) so that when our mind conforms to Him we, like Him, will raise from the dead. Christianity offers a way out of death. What sin did you commit? You did not love God with all your heart.

As a Christian, I am just having a difficult time reconciling Christ's exclusive statements with Sikhism. For example in John 14:6, "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" There are many others too. With a claim like this, how could Jesus possibly fit into the Sikhi worldview? This is meant as a sincere question. I don't mean to argue. Much love!
@KunwarNatt15 күн бұрын
I feel that a lot of people only understand what Jesus said in this line at a surface level. Jesus was not a normal human being and i can say that with 100% certainty being a Sikh, so from my perspective that phrase can be interpreted at a much deeper level which is more reflective of the depth of Christs personality. 'I am the way and the truth and the life' - this phrase is quiet similar to the one which got Sufi Mansur Al-Hallaj killed after being charged with heresy. Sufi Mansur repeated the words An al Haq which translate to I am the Truth," or "I am God." This similarity in the first phrase of Christ and Sufi Mansur (i am in no way aiming to challenge or disrespect the status of Christ) from a Sikh view is no coincidence but reflective of the fact that the Father has become one with the son and the son one with the father. Through love, and humility the ego of the individual becomes eradicated and the Father is found within. Now for the second part of the phrase, 'No one comes to the Father except through me' - Through me means through Christ (i know very obvious lol) but the enigma here is that Christ is not just the man on the cross, what makes Christ personality is his qualities which are discussed in the New Testament. By living a life of principle and truthfulness in the way that Jesus did and living a life in which we aim to adopt his qualities - only then can a person be known as a true believer in Christ. Only then have you accepted him as your saviour. Through continuous self-improvement which is gifted by the guidance of the book (The Bible) and perpetual love and reverence for the divine and his creation, the individual transcends the boundaries and limitations of the physical world and like the saints, become reunited with the Father. This is what Sikhism is trying to say. I apologise if i said anything wrong as this was not my intention.

I fear for you a Day when there will be Mutual calling (and wailing),- يَوْمَ تُوَلُّونَ مُدْبِرِينَ مَا لَكُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ "A Day when ye shall turn your backs and flee: No defender shall ye have from Allah: Any whom Allah leaves to stray, there is none to guide... وَلَقَدْ جَاءكُمْ يُوسُفُ مِن قَبْلُ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا زِلْتُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا جَاءكُم بِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا هَلَكَ قُلْتُمْ لَن يَبْعَثَ اللَّهُ مِن بَعْدِهِ رَسُولاً كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ مُّرْتَابٌ "And to you there came Joseph in times gone by, with Clear Signs, but ye ceased not to doubt of the (Mission) for which he had come: At length, when he died, ye said: 'No messenger will Allah send after him.' thus doth Allah leave to stray such as transgress and live in doubt,- الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَانٍ أَتَاهُمْ كَبُرَ مَقْتاً عِندَ اللَّهِ وَعِندَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كَذَلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبَّارٍ "(Such) as dispute about the Signs of Allah, without any authority that hath reached them, grievous and odious (is such conduct) in the sight of Allah and of the Believers. Thus doth Allah, seal up every heart - of arrogant and obstinate Transgressors."

The Bible is a collection of historical documents written by 40 different authors over a 1500 year span of time from creation until the 1st century AD. Sikhism came over 500 years after that. The Bible talks of God, our Creator, from the first man and it follows historical accounts from eye witnesses or writers who were spoken to by Him. They share stories and history that reveal God's character and how He wants us to be obedient and trust in Him because He created us in His image and wants a relationship with us.

My dear brother. Firstly, Understand the love of christ for whole world. Then make videos......I don't want to put any comments, I can do prayer only.. Bible said, Love your neighbors. But just for your knowledge...Christ want we must do Repentance whatever is the sin, even for small sin, We must Repent it from God & from peoples to whom we have done sin. Its amazing love & humbleness that For our sins he dies & third day according to him he Alive again. God is still alive. Jesus is still alive & want to save each & every life/spirit.

3:30 Why ? Because before the sacrifice, humans were living under the law. The judgment of each people was mainly based on rules (Ancient alliance). The sacrifice broke this, establishing a new alliance with humanity by the blood of God. Then, sins are forgiven, the faith would be the first criteria to be saved, and actions would be something we do to express the faith, knowing now, that we are not perfect (the 613 rules of Old Alliance were pretty tough to follow). And as sacrifices were something popular that God did notwant anymore, he closed this subject with His own saying that no other sacrifice would be necassary. This is my understanding.

Christians go to church for fear of Hell, they pray for fear of punishment. Sikhs go to Gurdwara for desire to be better citizens of the world. We pray to be better people and serve one another as Guru wants.

Christians go to church to worship our father, we pray to respect our father. Sihks from my understanding are warriors, most Christians are peaceful, in one of our ten commandments, it says "thall shall not fight." The only reason God would allow us to fight is if we go to war, can you defend against that?
@ashphillips47538 жыл бұрын
Modern Legionnaire warriors in a sense. Not warlords. We do not engage until we have been attacked first. We are charged with protecting the innocent and oppressed even if it costs our lives. That is an order from Guru Ji.

Luke 17:21 nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you.“ John 17:21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I really love Sikhism, thanks for the vids, I know its not an aim of the religion, but I think you have a covert here my friend!

let me please clear this also that the God of the Bible (YAHWEH) is Holy and Just so He cannot bear dirty and filthy things all that humans are doing since their creation (due to satan ) so God Himself made the way to enter into the world to save humans and to make one and only way for them to pass and that way is Jesus Christ himself as He mentioned in John 14: 6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". Sir only the Christian message tells us in the book of 2nd Philippians verse 6 that Who, being in very nature[a] God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature[b] of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death- even death on a cross! to all those who are confused here let me tell you the God of the Bibly is Holy Trinity The Father YAHWEH, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit

Jesus is a god. YHWH is GOD ALMIGHTY - Our Father In Heaven. 2 Corinthians 1:3 - All praise goes to God, Father of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. He is the Father of compassion, the God of all comfort. 4 He consoles us as we endure the pain and hardship of life so that we may draw from His comfort and share it with others in their own struggles. John 1:1 got you Stumped? don't let it - John 1:18 - Written After Jesus Was Gone says: No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. Exodus 33:20 - And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. Exodus 33:23 - Then I will take my hand away, and you'll see my back, but my face must not be seen. While Jesus was on Earth Getting Baptized.. Matthew 3:17 - And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. John 17 - Jesus Prays - To Himself? Or His Father? Two People - Or God is Schizophrenic 17 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2 For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. Jesus Taught Mercy, He Taught God has Mercy, He Taught he was the Messiah who God promised would be sent. Jesus is a God... Even 70, according to the bible, false gods are real gods too. But they are NOT YHWH. YHWH is God. John 3:16 - is pretty plain. I don't think it's a salvation issue, but many trinitarians profess that if you don't believe in the trinity you're deceived and going to burn in hell and such rhetoric - so it's worth looking into - especially to be telling people something that negative abut how God works when there isn't anything in the bible that says Trinitarians Get to Make It, But Non-Trinitarians Don't. I only commented because "Jesus Is God" is not the same as saying "seeing Jesus is the same as Seeing God" - Similiar - but Jesus is GOD Himself really only comes from John 1:1 - And Scholars have debated this - from at least Constatine's time until now - the Jews Never believer the Messiah was going to be God himself. Me either. God is Love, God Is Merciful, God is Awesome, and frankly... to me, it means more to me that Jesus died for us not being god, besides... he died for three 3 days and God raised him up - he didn't raise himself... sorry - another logic bomb - ok - peace. Love God, Love Neighbor - Peace
