My late Sifu was the same way. His attitude was that you must embrace the pain so if in a life or death situation it doesn't phase you and you can handle your business.

I never had the pleasure to witness Dr. Powell teachings in person, but I have studied martial arts. From the videos I have seen I see Doctor Powell, Soke Little John Davis and Anthony Muhammad who have been with him when Doctor Powell was much younger.

Cats don't want to give him credit because one he's not Muslim, two it takes away from there claim to fame. If Doc was here he'd tell you CHIEF PROFESSOR was a Title that ONLY he Bestowed it was only two that came from Doc, 1 Grandmaster Shem, and Grandmaster Pough.

Sensei Moses Powell what's the best that ever did it reason being is because he took things to the next level it took the art beyond with people knew there was only certain people who would ever really tell you what he do because he didn't teach everybody what he knew the Chiefs which was only two. You will never see any more like the two chiefs I'll leave that a debt for this time. Salam alaikum
