Thank you Sir this one of my big Homies, peoples out here selling & marketing a knockoff of his device and don't knows where & who it came from. I met Professor in 1995 when I was 24, one of my all time favorite people, he taught me alot about martial arts & life. Toy is still my #1 training tool 🤓✌🏾💪🏿R.I.P Professor Gatling 🙏🏽💚

That’s right Brother. Prof. Gatling provided us with a device that coordinates muscle, bone, tendons and ligaments as well as generating bone alignment. All these things are what constitutes the foundations of strength.

It’s clear as day he stole it. I have some old school friends in Harlem that knew him on a daily. He was the nicest of ppl. Humble. Down to earth. He’s living in Brooklyn now with his daughter. That’s last heard of him. Allegedly he patented it years back. I’m not getting into any Muslim comments but you said it. 🤔

I remember meeting him in person on 125th St. and Lenox Ave. This was after seeing him doing an interview with Herman Smalls on his fitness channel. Professor Gatling introduced his apparatus known as "The Toy". He showed a few exercises and a few moves on how he would shut down a larger Opponent than himself. He was fifty at that time. I was amazed that a Man at that age could be that fit. He was hard and it showed. I vowed when I saw him to aspire to be just as fit at that age. He was a staple in Harlem and a Consummate Professional. The knowledge I learned from him just from asking a few questions stuck with me. He was a sight to behold and could back it up. When I heard he transitioned a True Gem of Harlem was lost. R.I.P. Professor Marvin Gatling it was always an Honor!🙏🏿

As an enthusiast of fitness and martial arts history, this documentary was like stumbling on buried treasure. Traditional martial arts wisdom states that size doesn't matter; that much is true. What does matter? Strength. Size and strength are separate. In my life I've seen 130 pound men perform feats of strength that people twice their size cannot replicate. How can you control or neutralize a threat if you aren't strong enough? Weak hands CAN'T be deadly. The Toy seems like an excellent tool made by an extraordinary Man. Reminiscent of the old school chest expander but more compact. Here's hoping that the creator of the Rip stick at least gives due credit to the actual inventor of this device.
