It's nice to believe that the people coming back to this track have achieved all those things, like we dreamed of as naive children, but statistically speaking most people have none of them. Working doesn't make you rich, as evidenced by people who work crazy hours every week but stay low income. And to cope with the fact that we've been fed a lie, most people turn to eating, drinking, smoking, computer games or all of the above, which means they likely also don't have a fit and heatlhy body. Working all day in a stressful job also leaves little mental capacity for going out to meet and get close to new people (especially hard during covid), so that great family is likely also replaced by solitude. And even if they do have a family, the mundaneness that is life under capitalism unceasingly gnaws at ones sanity, leaving everybody on edge and ready to jump into an argument with their partner or kids or friends. So yeah, it's nice to think back about the dreams we used to have as kids, but we can and must all admit, we never thought it'd be this fucking hard.

Whenever I do a run on this track, it is perfectly timed to the beat of the music. Right on the start of lap two, it intersects with 0:28 and flows really well. Best soundtrack of all time.

hopped on the f-zero hype train after the success of F-ZERO 99 and I actually can’t fathom how this series got shafted. The soundtrack and gameplay are immaculate especially when you are tired of the slower paced racing games like Mario Kart.

It focuses more on the strategy of controlling your own machine than trying to defend and attack the others, though in X you can still fight.

Maybe you got a different region, the N64 cartridge slot is region locked so only games for the region it was sold in will fit in it. For example, a PAL game will not fit in an NTSC-M or NTSC-J N64.

My favorite track to beat records using the ghosts. I remember to fight so hard against that three ghosts, trying each time to avoid every mistake to gain more speed :')

It was one of the last courses that I've beaten the staff ghost on. It took soo many retries of playing with as little steering and speed loss as I possibly could. I would eventually improve upon my time slightly but the initial hump was brutal, even more so on Mute City 1.

Silence sure had fun tracks for both playstyles. Silence High Speed for jumpers, and Silence 2 for sliders. Silence 2 is my favorite due to my mains being good on Silence 2.
