I hated those sections initially. Now they are the sections I like to play the most. There's a higher learning curve to those parts, so I think people are quick to vent about them initially.

I don't have a problem either. But mm8 I can see it. It's a bit harder. I don't mind cause I got it down pat. Even years of not playing 8 once I just did it without a death. Once you know to stay back it isn't hard. But before that, it can be tough. X4's stage isn't that hard. It's just you have to learn how to get the stuff separately. Then how to hit the boss on the bike. And it isn't the usual game.

I had the collect on ps2 and never knew there was any mode. I did try some help mode on the classic collection after beating it just to see the characters talk to someone and for the tips. Like looking at a guide after you beat it to figure out how you did it wrong ect. Those tips helped me use the weapons better.

The Stage isn't bad. I always take this stage first, because it's basically a free Heart Tank and a Sub-tank. There's no requirements for any of those, other than being godlike with the Ride-Chaser. The only part that can be hard is Jet Stingray. Though he mostly stays in one place, so its still easy.
