What a beautiful way to start a Sunday!! The detail you showed was amazing. Another place I don't think I ever went to. I love old churches as they have that beautiful smell about them. The history is so wonderful and I know other countries have their cultures but I just think London is just so special. It was so lucky that they didn't get damaged in the wars. I think the altar was my favorite but it really is difficult to pick one place. I love the tombs where the people lay on top. Those audio guides are so helpful. An amazing presentation 👏

I would so love to be here!! So historical and beautiful. some of the most pronounced leaders and monarchs in the history of the world!!! So King Henry the VIII is in Windsor Castle. Did not know that. Oh!! The grave of the unknown warrior. I would love to read up on that. The choir room is where the kings and queens are coronated? The intricate stone carvings, shellings, and moldings. Dumb question. Is this all one type of stone? Are there composites of stone? Some of the carvings are so detailed in the smallest shapes, one would think that they are carved from wood, but I see it is ALL stone. I know it is not cement. LOL Beautiful. The stained glass above the North Door is gorgeous. So there is so much to see in this video, that I could not possibly comment on everything or even most of it. It was a great experience watching this. I did not know you could climb up high to see down on the Abbey floor. All the coronations and burials. So beautiful. Such history. If I ever make it to London, this is a must see. Thank you for your historical narrative here. Blessings.

Have to agree the view from up high looking down is incredible and just gives you the vastness of it all! The coronations happens in front of the alter on that mosaic floor, which is incredible to see close up. I know from an article below that lots of different types of stone was used: www.geolsoc.org.uk/GeositesWestminsterAbbey#:~:text=The%20decorative%20building%20stones%20used,Verde%20Genova%2C%20a%20green%20serpentinite.
