There is nothing more tiring than trying to mix around cymbal bleed in drums. This is a pain in rock and other genres, but for death metal, black metal, and other extreme metal genres, it can be a backbreaking process...

Hahaha no offense intended, but my point was that gates/de-essers on the market already worked with those styles of music... but I wanted to know if this was blast beat capable... and yep, it sure is! I bet with the Silencer, you'll get an even better result than I did with the Malamor song.

I am a novice, what does bleed mean?

Bleed refers to other parts of the Drums being audible in the mics. For example due to their positioning, there is usually Hi Hat audible in the mic for the Snare. It's annoying bc you gotta process both differently, there's lots of highs in the Snare which you can't take out bc it would sound bad and so on and so forth
